I have been watching these kids grow over the past year. I am fortunate to have such great clients and what a cute, respectful family! There were so many great images in this session to choose from.
It was so fun to shoot this family. No surprise, they are remarkable people. From one "Mink Cricker"to another. I am so glad we got to meet up. What adorable children!!
I just love this girl. By now she should look familiar! I have done several sessions with her over the last year. She is an amazing walker!
I took a break from newborn photography last fall. It was fun to get back into it again with this little cowboy!
It is fun to shoot engagement sessions. These two are no exception. I had a great time and I hope they did too. Enjoy your wedding day Todd + Lindsay! I hope the weather holds out for you!!
Don't forget to find me on FACEBOOK and leave me some comments!
It is so flattering when clients come back and these guys are some of those. It was so fun to see how their son had changed. What a fun session! I have the best clients!
This was a fun session. I thought the light was extra gorgeous. Just love these long summer nights!
I had a working relationship with this bride prior to her asking me to shoot her wedding. I was so pleased she allowed me into such a private part of her life. I was even more thrilled when I watched her and the groom interact. Certainly they are both in love! After spending years together they decided to tie the knot. They were so adorably in love!
Thank you to the talented Crystal Hunter of TimeLine Portraits for being my second shooter!
Here is a details shot.
Loved the opportunity to shoot last night. They are going to make wonderful parents. Here is a sneak peak. :)
It is hard to get a shot of any LDS temple on a holiday weekend. This was Memorial Day weekend and there were sooooo many bridal parties. I had to edit out a lot of people in some of these shots.

When our son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes almost 2 years ago, I feel like this nurse saved our lives. She works at the school and I have always felt spoiled by her. She has been so involved in our lives and goes further than "the extra mile". We are blessed to have her in our lives. We are no longer at that school and while I still know I can depend on her if needed, we sure miss the daily interaction.
I thought it was appropriate that he come along as my assistant for this session! Here he is with her. THANK YOU Nurse Tara! We will never be able to repay you for your kindness!
This one just melts my heart everytime. Isn't she a doll??!!
This family is minus one son and they are about to be minus 2. Both will be serving missions. So, even though the family photo isn't complete, then needed to document this time/event. Good luck Mark!
Since we can't do a photo at the temple in construction, what is the next best thing? Nature. :)
What a fun and innocent age!
No question about it, this kid is cute! He is four and so full of information and energy! Thanks for the fun evening. We barely missed the rain!
This is one of the winners of my cutest kid contest. She was a mover and so cute. her mom and I spent most of our time chasing her but look at the images we were still able to capture.
i decided yesterday morning that if I was going to get a shot in the purple flowers (which are really weeds) I better hurry. So, I made sme headbands, got the girls dressed and drove to the location I have had my eye on. Wouldn't you know it as soon as we got there the sun came out from behind the clouds so the girls had a hard time not squinting.
You might be expecting a beautiful young couple. That is not what you are going to get with this post. This couple is very sweet and I am blessed to know them. They were in town and requested a session. I think everyone should have photos like this of themselves, their parents and/or grandparents. Why is it we get to a certain age in our lives and quit taking professional photos? I think you can never have to many photos!
