Our Rockin Green Detergents have arrived!!!!! 29 May 2013 12:52 AM (11 years ago)

Rockingreenlogo

I am pleased to announce that our detergents have arrived yesterday – we are just in the process of unpacking etc etc, complicated a little by the fact that my little angel, Connor, arrived 6 days ago – I kind of have my hands full trying to remember how to breast feed without screaming in pain – Ha ha, so not funny.

Anyway, i hope to have it all catalogued and loaded on line by the end of this week so that you can place your orders. I am so excited to wash my newborn nappies and get them onto my new boy – will let you know how it goes, but i know Soft Rock will make a huge difference to my life as we have rainwater in our house and getting detergent out of anything is a nightmare.

If you are unsure of your water type – just order a test strip and a sample bag of detergent – this bag allows 2 -4 washes depending on the efficiency of your washing machine and will allow you to decide which type is best for your water, hard; soft or classic rock!

Till later,

Laura

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE WHAT ONE MOM CAN DO! 1 Mar 2013 5:54 AM (12 years ago)

Our first order of Rockin Green Soap is on its way and i thought i would share this link with you – this is one American mom who began to cloth nappy her children and soon realised that getting the right wash routine, and hence the right detergent , was Key to Success. She started her own eco friendly detergent business and has since won numerous awards. Her amazing formula comes in three options, hard rock, classic rock and soft rock – for hard and soft water and then in between. this will make a huge difference to your wash routine and quarantees success. If you already have problems, they have funk rock which is an ammonia bouncer and will sort out any detergent build ups.

See her story here :   http://rockingreensoap.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/KimWebbBio2012.pdf

Bumgenius AIO end of range sale 3 Jan 2013 10:29 AM (12 years ago)

We are offering the last of the Bumgenius all in ones at a ridiculous 50% off. This is in order to clear the way for new stock later in the year. These nappies have been discontinued purely due to financial constraints. A set costs more than a set of one size nappies, as you need 48 nappies, 12 of each size. However the advantage is no folding, stuffing or snapping up and down and a perfectly fitting nappy for each stage of baby’s growth.

Go ahead, check out our sale section – its a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!!!

Cloth Diaper friendly detergents – why ??? 25 Aug 2012 1:52 AM (12 years ago)

Here is a very nice link explaining why standard detergents are not good for your babies’ nappies. We sell the Bumgenius detergent online and use it on our son’s nappies. The good thing is that a little goes a long way and it is has made our wash routine effortless.

Read the link below and see what you think!

For Moms that use cloth, What was the biggest obstacle in changing over from disposables to re-usable. Did you have some difficulty in getting used to a routine regarding washing etc?How would you describe the first few weeks?
