This special boy came from Belarus. He is very sweet and friendly by character. His coat is thick and silvery and his eyes are of a wonderful distinctive green color. He showed himself a real gentleman with Adusya. It was obvious that they fit each other perfectly.

Timo  is very sweet and friendly. His fluffy silverish coat has very nice smoky shadows. He is very patient with female guests and demonstrates them his care and love...

Lion vom Amorsbrunn






Lion is a real lap cat with a nice thick plush mid blue coat. He is pretty high on his legs and has well placed ears.
It has been proven that he gives his character and good qualities to his offspring.

Kurillean Bobtails. Their first walk 14 Apr 2014 2:27 AM (11 years ago)

Afina's kittens had a special celebration of their 7 weeks - they were allowed to go out of their "nest" in the protected area, when they grown up with their younger siblings.
It was a great fun for them to run around the big room, to find special places and to play hide-and seek. We also enjoyed their first outage very much and got lots of fun to watch them.



Jinky-Binky is a very courageous and curious boy.

Mom is taking rest, why not to greet her?
And who is this?  She is different, not like me and my Mom! 



Pity, she seems to be not so friendly

Ada's kittens: Istra, Ilmen and Irtysh 1 Apr 2014 5:14 AM (11 years ago)

The time of farewell is close.
Today  the the kittens got the last vaccination and chipping.
The passports and pedigrees are also ready.

So, some photos for our good memory before all Ada's babies will leave our house.

From their very first days they get used to be always together -
together slept
 









together ate
 



 together played
 

and experienced contacts with another cats


But after a certain time there come a moment when while by while they try to be independent to follow their own wishes whether it concerns sleeping, eating or playing.
They are still happy to be all together with their mother and with us, although not for a long any more...  And we wish each of them a very happy life in their new families!



Ilmen
This boy has a very strong character, he perfectly knows what he wants and  always manage to get it

Ilmen moved to Amsterdam to Jiening & Shijing. He has a great luck of getting there in his new family also a new cat-friend Gino, the Brits. Very soon they became real friends and very much appreciated by their new "mom"and "dad". His new name is simple - Kittie :)

 



















 In the beginning Istra was also rather demanding and pushing in the reaching her goals, but now she is softer and quieter than before 



Now Istra lives in Amsterdam and has a new name Charly. She feels absolutely happy and relaxed in her new family with her new loving human mama Fia



Irtysh has a very well balanced character - he happily participates in all the activities with his brothers and sisters, he always ready to eat when the food is offered and he never shows his disagreement or dissatisfaction with anything




Irtysh found his new home in Utrecht in the friendly family of four - mother, father and two sisters.
At the beginning itt was not so easy for him to accept the absence of his brothers and sisters. but in a few days he get used to his new home and appreciated the communication with his new family members

Ada's kittens: Inta and Ishim 31 Mar 2014 11:09 AM (11 years ago)

Less than in a week Ada's kittens will start one by one leave our house.

These two - sister and brother, Inta and Ishim - will live together in Rotterdam. It is their real luck because they get used always to keep together, play together and sleep close to each other.
They were very sweet from the very beginning



 and remain the same in their eleven weeks, only now they are faster and stronger than before.




Inta is very sweet and cuddling girl. She likes to be petted and kissed



Ishim likes to play with his brothers and sisters, but also to be petted, like Inta



We love this little couple and will miss them when they leave us....


 Time passed and these lovely brother and sister got a new home in Rotterdam where they live with Muriel and Job. They got also the new names - Borus and Ica. 
They still keep together and feel happy in their new family

Our beloved black Bagira delighted us on the 4-th of March with her first litter of four beautiful babies, three boys and one girl .
She delivered her babies into the same litter-box where  two weeks before Afina brought her three babies. Since then they both take care of their "common" babies without dividing  them on "yours" and "mine".



Bagira's babies resemble their parents with  the coat colouring combination of black-grey-white.
And one boy is totally black, like his mom.



To demonstrate our sympathy and solidarity to Ukraine due to the sad event of the Krym annexation which is the motherland of Afina and Bagira,  all her babies are named with different Crimea's places.



So, the black boy has a name Kara-dag what in Crimean-Tatar language means "black mountain"; this is the name of the ancient volcanic mountain in Krym.












The boy with many grey and white stripes and the black along the spine is named Koktebel. This is the name of the valley and the bay at the foot of the Vulcan Kara-dag; in Crimean-Tatar it means "Land of blue hills".









The third boy got a name Krymchak - the meaning is clear and doesn't need any additional explanation. He has very interesting spots of dark and white on his coat, similar to the dark and white spots of the  Krym's history.













And the sweet girl has a wonderful name Kerchana by analogy to the ancient city Kerch, which is located on the coast at the Kerch Strait. 
 

The white line between her two eyes resembles the strait between the Azov and Black Seas.

It's rather difficult to photo them, they don't want to pose or sit still even for a second.
So, the better solution is to film them during their activities. Although, it is not so easy, as well ;)
The quality of the videos is far from perfect but still it gives the idea how playful and curious they are now



And this is the girl with red band, Istra. She likes to know everything and to get everywhere.

This beautiful black cat resembles a real Bagheera, the panther, with her elegant gracefulness and tricky character. But contrary to her wild namesake she is friendly to everyone, very curious and likes to be petted.

Afina's eerste nestje ... 26 Feb 2014 12:43 AM (11 years ago)

In de nacht van 19 februari heeft Afina haar babies op de wereld gezet. Zij werd mamma :)
En wij krijgen ons eerste nestje met Kurillean Bobtails, wat heel opwindend en uitdagend is.

Onze geliefde Fifa deed alles perfect en vanaf het eerste moment verzorgde ze haar kittens op een geweldige manier.



Er zijn drie prachtige babies, twee rode en een zwarte met wat wit.
Volgens de eerste waarneming is er een meisje (in het midden) en twee jongen.


Het zwarte jongetje heeft heel interessante witte vlekken.

De eerder bedachte namen zijn
voor de jongens Jinky-Binky (rood) en Jocker (zwart)
en voor het meisje Juicy-Berry

Nu genieten de babies van hun eerste dagen met eten en slapen en hun gelukkige moeder laat hen niet alleen en verzorgt hen met grote overgave.



Op de derde dag wegen die dotjes al 150g

Ze worden actiever en de zwarte Jocker probeert zelfs de omgeving te verkennen  :)

Afina's first litter 20 Feb 2014 9:10 AM (11 years ago)

In the night of the 19-th February Afina delivered her babies. She became mamma :)
And we got the first litter of the Kurillean Bobtails what is very exciting and challenging.

Our beloved Fifa did everything perfectly and from the very first moment took a perfect care of her babies.



There are three beautiful babies, two red and one black with a bit of white.
From the first observation there is one girl (in the center) and two boys.


The black boy has very interesting white spotting

The previously considered names are
for the boys Jinky-Binky (red) and  Jocker (black)
and for the girl Juicy-Berry

Now the babies enjoy their very first days by eating and sleeping and their happy mother doesn't leave them and takes care of them with a great devotion



On the third day the sweeties weight already per 150g

They became more active and the black Jocker even tries to explore the surroundings :)

Kittens "I" are five weeks old 12 Feb 2014 12:54 AM (11 years ago)

They were born in the litter box. And for a few weeks when they were able only eat and sleep that box was very cozy and satisfactory for their needs.


But after three weeks they became more active and needed more space.
The litter box appeared too small for their needs and Ada asked for the removal ;)


The family has been moved to the playpen  and the babies got more freedom for their further development.


Only one week later, when they reach their four weeks, the babies got interested in mamma's dry food and found it's taste rather good, as well.  It meant that they would need to get their own food and the toilet box in addition. The size of the playpen is not big enough for all these extra equipment.
So, what?  The new removal...



In the new big manege is lots of space for playing, climbing up, sleeping and doing many other very necessary and important things for the proper training and a happy growing up :)

Onze Koerilen Bobtails, de twee prachtige jonge dames Afina en Bagira, bereiden zich voor op hun eerste moederschap.

We waren eigenlijk niet van plan om ze allebei rond dezelfde tijd te laten dekken. We dachten eerst aan Afina.
Maar, na haar eerste bezoek aan Anrian Le Brave Grand Pompon *RU (roepnaam Julius) van de Cattery "Lucky Paws, leek dit niet succesvol.





Ze zich nogal verlegen van karakter en ze nam kennelijk haar tijd om aan deze lieve en voorzichtige man te wennen.





Daarmee werd er een tweede poging ondernomen, enkele weken later. Julius heeft weer zijn best gedaan, maar het leek weer niet echt succesvol.






Daarom besloten we dan maar haar wat rust te geven en in plaats daarvan Bagira te laten dekken.

Bagira bracht een bezoek aan een heel lieve jongeman, NL*Boris Kuriles (Timo), die net als zij ook nog maagd was.





Bagira is een heel sociale en in de omgang gemakkelijk jonge meid. Daarmee dat het van het begin aan meteen klikte op de juiste wijze en met gepaste intensiteit. Beiden mochten elkaar zeer goed en hun ontmoeting bleek positief.





Maar, direct daarna realiseerden we ons dat Afina ons toch niet teleurstelde. Ze begon duidelijk tekenen van een zwangerschap te vertonen ....

Dus, we zijn ons nu aan het voorbereiden op twee nestjes van deze prachtige Koerilen Bobtails, met een tussenpoos van rond de twee weken.

Dat is weer een heel andere uitdaging en een volkomen nieuwe ervaring voor ons.


Maar, we hebben het volste bertrouwen in onze lieve dames en denken dan ook dat alles prima zal verlopen :)

Zo rond de vijf weken zwangerschap laten we de toekomstige moeder altijd bekijken door een echo specialist om te zien hoeveel embryos er zijn en of de ligging en de rest er goed uitziet.


Dus, op 20 januari hebben we Afina laten controleren. Het is inderdaad bevestigd dat ze normaal drachtig is en dat er mogelijk 4 babies zullen zijn.

Our Kurillean Bobtails, two beautiful girls Afina and Bagira  are also preparing for their first motherhood.

We didn't  intend to mate them both at the same time. For the beginning we planned to mate only Afina.
But her first visit to Anrian Le Brave Grand Pompon *RU (called name Julius), from the cattery "Lucky Paws" was not successful


Being rather scared she apparently took her time to get used to this lovely and careful male.



After a few weeks under the second attempt it also looked as a failure, although Julius have tried his best.


So, we decided to give her certain rest and try to mate Bagira.

Bagira visited very sweet young boy NL*Boris Kuriles (Timo) who was also as virgin as she.


Bagira is a very sociable and easy going girl, so, their communication from the very beginning developed in a proper way and with good intensity. They both appreciated each other very much and their meeting was very positive.


But at the same time we realized that Afina didn't want to disappoint us, as well. She showed the clear signs of pregnancy. Wow! it was an unexpected revelation!

So, now we prepare to receive two litters of the little Kurilleans with a two weeks interval.
This will be a great challenge and a new experience for us.
But we have trust in our sweet girls and believe they will do everything perfectly :)


In the term of five weeks pregnancy we usually check the future mothers with echo to be aware of the amount of embryos and their disposition. 
So, on the 20-th of January, Afina has been checked as well. It is confirmed that her pregnancy is normal and four babies are properly developed.


Bagira has also been checked in her turn on the 3-d of February. 
The Echo discovered five babies inside!


We are very excited and full of expectations to receive the first litters of our beautiful Kurillean girls :)

On the mid of November 2013 our Ada visited her new mate,  GIC Silver Kaptown Russian Beauty's from the cattery "Russisch Blau von Knjaginja Olga"  in Essen, Germany


The mating took place and appeared to be very successful.
Ada prepared herself  for receiving  her new babies by sleeping a lot and eating correspondingly.


In five weeks pregnancy she has been checked with Echo and it showed  five embryos.

So, in the appropriate time all five babies entered our world.

Although, the labor was rather slow and it took about 10 hours to deliver them all, all the babies were healthy, active and of the similar weight, 90 - 100 gr.



Today these sweet babies are already 10 days old. They all one by one are opening their eyes.
From the first observation there are three boys and two girls.


It is always rather difficult to name the kittens. 
The intention is to find the corresponding Russian names. 
For now we have
for the boys - Ilmen, Ishim,  Irtysh
for the girls - Inta, Istra
These all are the Russian rivers.

Rain, rain, cloudy grey sky, wind and again rain...
There is no any fun for the cats.
Usually they like to spend time at the balcony by watching the birds or hunting the flies, but on the grey Autumn days they could hardly please themselves with such amusement...



Ada  is the first who feels annoyed


she decides to move to the room to watch the rain from the inside

Very soon Afina and Bagira follow her as well. They prefer better to eat a bit


and then to take a nap in a cozy place under the table z-z-z-z.....




Such days are very boring for everyone, indeed...

Harkiv and Hmelnik de Caritates

This morning two sweet brothers Harkiv and Hmelnik also left us for their new home.
They live now in Alphen Gld. with very nice family of Andrea Looren de Jong, her husband and their two sons.
Boys were very soon adopted to the new place and were very much impressed with many interesting things around. They got new nick-names Tjodor and Uzor (their father's name :) )
We are very glad and hope they will be happy in their new home together with this very friendly family.

20.07 - Horiv Hariton de Caritates


Horiv was the first, who left us, his Mum, siblings and friends Kurilean Bobtails.
He went to Germany, Bruchsal, to the cattery  Russisch Blau von Malyschka.
The breeders Natalia and Ralf Pospiech like him very much and look forward for the interesting litters.
But this will be in the future. And today he had his first thrilling experience - the long trip in the car.
















At the end of the exploring the car he was so tired that took a rest in the cage at the back seat in the toilet box. He looked fully satisfied :)

Galinka


In haar nieuwe thuis in Maastricht kreeg Galinka een andere naam: Pip.
Zij deelt het huis met lieve Will en de oudere poes Lola.
Ze voelen zich allemaal gelukkig samen






  Ganusja


Ganusja woont in Diemen, vlakbij A-dam, met het liefdevolle koppel , Patricia en Rob. 
Hun liefde en zorg hielpen Ganusja zich gemakkelijk aan te passen aan de nieuwe omgeving
Daar is ook een goede vriend voor haar, een Russich Blauwe poes Pixie. 







                                                                     Golubok

Golubok is nu Sam. Hij woont in Nijmegen.
Zijn gezin bestaat uit Sabine, Maurice en de Kurillean Bobtail Maura.
Ze delen hun vriendschap met elkaar en hebben veel plezier samen.

Gorlick werd op eerste gezicht verliefd op Lisanne. Nu woont hij samen met haar in Utrecht.
Hoewel er geen andere kat is om vriendschap mee te sluiten, voelt hij zich absoluut gelukkig met de zorgzame bescherming van zijn beste menseljke vriend :) 










Groschick

Groschick is naar Amersfoort verhuisd.
Hij woont daar in het prachtige jonge gezin van Iris en Dénis, samen met hun zoontje Liam. Groschik en hij werden de beste vrienden :)

Galinka


In her new home in Maastricht Galinka got another name Pip.
She shares the home with loving Will and the older cat Lola.
They all feel very happy together






  Ganusja


Ganusja lives in Diemen, close to A-dam, with very loving couple, Patricia and Rob. 
Their love and care helped Ganusja to adopt herself easily to the new environment.
There is also a good friend for her, Russian Blue female Pixie








                                                                     Golubok

Golubok is now Sam. He lives in Nijmegen.
His family consists of Sabine, Maurice and Kurillean Bobtail Maura.
They share big love with each other and have fun together


 

 


Gorlick


Gorlick fall in love to Lisanne at first sight. Now he lives with her in Utrecht.
Although there is no any other cat there to make friendship he feels absolutely happy under the careful protection of his best human friend :)










Groschick



 Groschick has been moved to Amersfoort. Now his nick-name is Mees.
He lives with wonderful young family of Iris and Dénis and their little son Liam.
Groschik and Liam are the best friends :)
