I wanted to share Erica and Austin’s San Francisco City Hall wedding photos. They had a wonderfully intimate wedding at City Hall with their family and friends. I loved capturing all of the moments from the ceremony to the exit. We started with the happy couple walking up the Grand Staircase inside City Hall on the way to their ceremony.
All of Erica and Austin’s guests wore a coordinated navy blue color palette. Some of the male guests wore light grey suits.
I adored their classic and timeless style. Erica’s bridal bouquet featured a wonderful selection of spring flowers. The color palette was wonderfully eclectic with pale yellow and pastel colors. The contrast with the gerber daisies and hydrangeas was wonderful. Austin wore a pale yellow tie and pocket square to contrast with his blue, slim fit custom made suit with brown shoes.
When Erica and Austin were leaving City Hall, I organized their family members together for a fun exit on the front steps of City Hall.
We also took photos in the Civic Center plaza. The plaza features the most beautiful sycamore trees which are unique to San Francisco.
Congrats to Erica and Austin!
I wanted to share a few Palm Springs Ace Hotel wedding photos. The Ace Hotel is an amazing wedding venue in Palm Springs. It’s also a wonderful place for the Kirk Mastin and Jeremy Chou fine art wedding photography workshop. Since I strive to keep learning and improve my skills, this was a great workshop and a nice excuse to travel to Palm Springs during the winter.
Palm Springs influenced the style of this shoot. You can find bougainvillea all over Palm Springs. The event designer used the bright pink in bougainvillea in the floral palette. The mid-century modern architecture at the Ace Hotel was a fun backdrop.

As a Carmel wedding photographer, I’m excited to share Erika and Adam’s Carmel Wedding at Bernardus Lodge wedding photos with you. The Carmel Valley was a glorious setting for Erika and Adam’s fun yet elegant wedding. Erika and Adam have a very playful relationship. It was so fun to photograph their special day because their friends and family were all so warm. It was wonderful to see everyone celebrate Erika and Adam’s big day with a wonderfully emotional wedding ceremony. A huge dance party ended the night perfectly. Congrats to Erika and Adam!

As a San Francisco wedding photographer, I really enjoy City Hall weddings. Kristen and Greg had a beautiful San Francisco City Hall wedding. They started out with a First Look at the beautiful park across the street from City Hall on Van Ness Avenue. Then we took advantage of the beautiful outdoor location and started their bride and groom portraits in the park.
Their ceremony took place at the gorgeous Fourth Floor, North Gallery of City Hall. Kristen and Greg were joined by their super cute son, Weston, as well as their family and friends. The wonderful Irene Kane officiated the ceremony. If you are looking for a wedding officiant, Irene is fabulous! She has an amazing energy and presence, and is incredibly professional and caring.
Following the ceremony, we took natural and relaxed family portraits on the Fourth Floor. All of the family members were coordinated in black which looked very chic. We also took many family portraits of Kristen, Greg, and Weston together.
After their time at City Hall, Kristen and Greg were surprised with a very unique mode of transportation. Greg’s dad brought his classic red Thunderbird for Greg to whisk Kristen away. This is a very special car because this is the car that Greg’s parents used for their honeymoon many years ago.
Congrats to Kristen + Greg!

Samantha and Jake had a wonderful and very unique San Francisco zoo wedding. They met while working at the Hotel Omni in downtown San Francisco. We photographed their getting ready at that hotel where they had so many memories.
Samantha and Jake are such lovely people and real animal lovers. That’s why they chose to have their wedding at the zoo. The wedding ceremony was held on the African Savannah area of the zoo. Guests were treated to a carousel ride during the cocktail hour. Friends and family also had an amazing opportunity to feed and interact with giraffes.
The reception area was lit in gorgeous pink light. A magnificent tree shadow was projected onto one wall. This made you feel as if you were in magical world away from the city. After warm toasts from family and friends, guests danced the night away. It was wonderful to work with wedding coordinator, Erica Becks of Erica Events. Congrats to Samantha and Jake!

Brandy and Peter had a fun-filled wedding in Burlingame at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club. Their very personal and touching wedding ceremony was held at Our Ladies of Angels Church. The Peninsula Golf and Country Club was an amazing reception venue. The dancing was epic, and you could really see that each and every guest had an amazing time at Brandy and Peter’s reception. Friends and family traveled from all over the country to attend their wedding. Congrats to Brandy and Peter!

Kelly and Hans had a wonderful wedding surrounded by family and friends. Their family and friends really came together to help them have an amazing wedding. Their ceremony and reception were held at a private estate in Los Gatos. Hans designed and built the beautiful redwood arch for their ceremony. The beautiful color purple was so lovely.
In their professional lives, they help out other people so much and make such an impact in other people’s lives. It was wonderful to see Kelly and Hans having such big smiles the entire day.
Congrats to Kelly and Hans!

Amy and Ryan had a gorgeous, classic Flood Mansion wedding. You may remember Amy and Ryan from their Golden Gate Bridge engagement session. Not only are Amy and Ryan very accomplished and making a real difference in people’s lives during the day, but they are really nice people and a fun couple. Both of their families came together for a really warm and inviting wedding experience. Although it was quite cold, windy, and overcast that day, we still managed to capture Amy and Ryan on the balcony of the Flood Mansion with an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. How cute were the little attendants helping out during the wedding? My favorite moment was seeing Amy dance with her grandfather who always promised to dance with her at her wedding.:) Congrats to Amy and Ryan!

You may remember Vanessa and Greg from their fun engagement session. They had an incredibly fun and high spirited wedding at the beautiful and lush Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley.
There is so much natural beauty in Mill Valley with the redwoods that it’s really a magical place for a wedding.
The ceremony was held in the outdoor garden area flanked by a beautiful canopy of trees. The beautiful arch covered in flowers set the stage for the ceremony.
Vanessa and Greg always have smiles on their faces and such vivacious energy you can’t help but smile and be in a good mood when you are around them. They really were surrounded by the love of their friends and family, and they can really get down on the dance floor. :) Congrats to Vanessa and Greg!

Denae and Rudy had a beautiful San Francisco City Hall wedding. They were joined by their family and friends. There was one very special guest as well, their doggie, Remington Steele (great name!). Denae wore a gorgeous flowy dress with a lovely little topper with bugle beads. Rudy wore an amazing fitted blue suit. Denae’s bridal bouquet featured dahlias, roses, succulents, and astilbe.
Congrats to Denae + Rudy!
