We are excited that our outdoor spas at our Paso Robles, Atascadero, and San Luis Obispo locations will officially be OPEN within the first 2 weeks of the month. Remember to follow social distancing guidelines and respect others by limiting your usage time.

Where Mind & Body Come Together
2021 is underway and we hope that you all are finding some balance in life. Balance between a healthy diet and a little splurge now and then. Balance between working from home and staying active. Balance between time with the kids and time for yourself. Finding these balances in life aren’t always easy, but they are necessary. Try to allow yourself to find that place where mind and body truly come together, where you can feel peace, strength, and hope for what’s to come.
Many of us hear the term “vegan”, and instantly think “not good.” That is simply not true. Of course we all have different taste buds, but we have done our practical research on Vegan food only to find that it is both delicious and not as difficult to create as you might think. We found this recipe and love the ingredients used. It creates a delectable dessert that can be served any day of the year. You don’t have to be “a vegan” to make this tasty treat, but if you are…we hope you enjoy this recipe.
BODY WEIGHT SQUAT:
A body weight squat is a great exercise to work your lower body. Keeping your legs toned and strong is essential for daily living…walking, running, skipping with your kiddos, sitting, standing…the list goes on and on. Check your form now and then in a mirror to make sure you are performing this exercise correctly and safely.

So here we are Central Coast…back to the purple tier with our county in regards to Covid-19. As a business, we here at KCF will continue to operate as we have been over the last several months…safe, clean, and supporting our members by providing a place of health, wellness, and exercise.
We consider Kennedy Club Fitness to be an essential business, and we hope you all can agree. We are not only here for your physical health, but mental health as well. In a world where certain things (like changes in career, loss of a loved one, anxiety, and simply the emotions that the holiday season can bring to many of us) don’t stop…we can’t stop either.

Ahhhhhh November…the time when sweaters and boots are pulled out of the closet, online shopping is at an ultimate high, and unfortunately for some of us, our workout routines become an afterthought. We all know how important it is to keep up on our physical as well as mental health, especially after the last several months. We encourage you all to stay active, surround yourself with people and things you love, and find the joy in every day.

Naturally Sweetened Cranberry Sauce
Raise your hand if you love cranberry sauce? Now…if you didn’t raise your hand, perhaps it’s because you haven’t had the real good stuff yet. There’s the can of the gelatin like stuff we started buying back in the 50’s (hello high fructose corn syrup, yikes), there’s the recipes made with about 1 cup of white sugar, and then there’s this. Now THIS…this is the stuff you’re gonna want to try. A few simple ingredients. Quick and easy to make. Beautiful addition to the Thanksgiving table. National Stress Awareness Day aims to identify and reduce the stress factors in your life. Everyone has stress. Some stress is good for us and helps us to respond to changes in life. It is our body’s way of protecting itself from harm. However, too much of it can cause harm to our health and relationships.
It is important to identify the stressors impacting our physical and mental health. Sometimes health problems are the cause. But our health can also be affected by external stressors such as physical abuse, stressful work environments, financial stress, or other family health issues.
