Oh dear….has it really been almost 3 months since i last posted?!?!
How did that happen?…..
Well, my business is super busy with lots of great projects & I've had to focus on that for the time being.
But i haven't forgotten about the blog or you my bloggy friends!
What better way to come back to the blog than to share the story
Adore Magazine has done on my new place!
And don't you love that my dog Violet managed to score a double page spread in her favourite spot (yes…on the couch!)

I saw this first image & it set me on an obsession with using wallpaper in a laundry!
Is is not A-mazing?!

A few from the inspiration file for a project I'm working on this week…

On Wednesday night i attended an amazing dinner to celebrate 200years of
Royal Doulton.
As you can imagine the set up was to die for - 4 long tables of 50, each themed to one of their collections.
Street Art, Hemmingway, Barber & Osgerby & 1815-2015
I love the 1815 range & have a tonne of it at home (the
tapas sets are amazing!)
I really enjoyed learning more about the history of the company too.
Did you know Royal Douton used to make the ceramic sewer pipes in london?
Thanks for having me Royal Doulton - Spectacular night!

My name is Sally & I'm a cushion hoarder…
So I am excited to have teamed with
Bungalow Living to make my very own 'cushion bundle'!
Its so hard to find nice, affordable outdoor cushions.
There is a big range of fabrics & sizes you can choose from to customise your cushions.
A bundle of 3 will only set you back $100 and shipping is free - so reasonable!
Here is my 'Sally Rhys-Jones Bundle'
Byron Bay Getaway
30 Mar 2015 2:25 PM (10 years ago)

Last weekend i took my Mum for a girls weekend to Byron Bay.
Ate our way around (
The Bay Leaf is my new favourite), walked, shopped, kayaked & swam.
A great 3 day break :)

Ikea Malm Drawers are a really affordable way to create some stylish storage options.
At only $99 for the white 3 drawer version you cant go wrong!
With ample drawer space, sleek shadow line handles & lots of bench top surface, they look great almost anywhere!
I use them as bedside tables which both look good, & give us plenty of drawer space.
They are also a great addition to a wardrobe, office or living room.

Is everyone watching the new season of the Block?
Every year i am more & more impressed with the bathroom design.
{well most of them anyway, theres always one shocker!}
Although i think if they revealed the cost of the build for the bathrooms people would be surprised.
The fittings & fixtures they use tend to be fairly high end & certainly not suited to a budget bathroom renovation!
Daz & Dee's bathroom from last season is one of my all time favourites!
Its classic, simple yet striking & uses beautiful, quality materials & fixtures in a way thats not over the top.
Understated glamour at its best!

Its slightly cooler in Sydney today which has made me start thinking about my Autumn / Winter wardrobe.
Trawling through my Pinterest
{Serious Style} board i saw a trend.
Amazing cream/camel/tan {whatever you like to call it} coats!
Throw it over black & white or denim = winter wardrobe sophistication!
…..oh and add some platinum blonde hair. Get me to the hairdresser!

Its been a while since i did a food post.
Ive been feeling a bit like I've lost my 'cooking mojo' lately
Its usually something i love doing, but i seem to be stuck in a rut….
I was trawling Pinterest last night some inspiration & saw this piece of mouth watering deliciousness!

The Lust List
24 Feb 2015 1:41 PM (10 years ago)

I am totally obsessed with the amazing illustrations by
The Lust List at the moment!
Divine illustrations of, well, all things lust worthy!
I swoon over every one of them…. A bundle of luxury rolled into each drawing!

Coco republic has launched its first foray into the hospitality world with
L'Americano
An espresso bar inspired by 'the opulent bachelorism of an American holidaying on the italian coast in the 1950's.
In particular, the novel The Talented Mr Ripley & its protagonist Dickie Greenleaf'.
The interiors by
Alexander & Co. in conjunction with Co co Republic ooze with style & old world charm.
A green white & tan colour scheme features striped awnings, timber, leather, marble & glamourous lighting.
The breakfast & lunch menu celebrates the artisan food heritage of the Italian Riviera.
L'Americano opens this month.

The Style Co.

Every time i see a wedding by
The Style Co. i swoon over every detail.
Their floral work is out of control amazing.
I first discovered them when they styled Chris & Rebecca Judds wedding
(hello - that living Hydrangea chandelier over the dance floor - W.O.W)
I don't really need to say much - the pictures say it all!
If you are in Melbourne & looking for killer wedding (or party) stylists look no further..
Black Tapware
5 Feb 2015 2:49 PM (10 years ago)

Black tapware is big at the moment!
It gives a dramatic pop of contrast in a white space.
Will it last the test of time though & not be 'out of date' in a few years i wonder?
