About a month ago one of our premium recruiters asked me if we can help him identify candidates who already applied to jobs he posted.
After a brief discussion we came up with the solution: for every application show a list of all other applications from the same candidate.
Here's how it works:
1) You open one of job applications here:
http://www.postjobfree.com/all-received-applications
2) Click on email address to see all other applications that you received from that email address:
Please email me support@postjobfree.com or comment below if you need PostJobFree to do something special for your - we may come up with the solution.
When job seekers apply for your job postings, you can see their applications on All received applications page.
Note that PostJobFree supports job application statuses: "New", "In review", "Intervew", "Offered", "Hired", "Rejected".
You can change application status if you click on a job application.
Let me ask you a question:
Would you like to be able to type custom text notes on your incoming job applications?
It may look like that:
After you add notes it may look like that:
Would job application notes help you in your work?

Two month ago recruiters asked me to attach resumes to job application emails.
One month ago PostJobFree team made it happen.
Now when you post jobs we email you job applications and include candidate's resume as an attachment.
When job seeker applies to your job posting, PostJobFree emails you job seeker's application.
We include job seeker's resume into body of that email as a plain text.
Some recruiters asked me if PostJobFree can include resume as an email attachment.
We can make that change, but only if many recruiters would like to get resume in form of attachment.
Please let me know what you think about it:
1) Would you like to receive resume as a text inside of application email body or as a file attachment?
2) What resume file format would you prefer as an attachment?
We added job application autoresponder because many recruiters requested it.
Now when job seeker applies for your jobs, PostJobFree emails an autoresponder message to the job seeker:
Several recruiters asked me if PostJobFree can email auto-reply to candidates after they applied for a job.
We are working on making it happen.
Autoresponder may help recruiters communicate their application process to job seekers and make job seekers more comfortable waiting for recruiter's reply.
Please help us shape PostJobFree autoresponder by sharing your feedback:
1) Would job application autoresponder help you?
2) Would you like to be able to modify autoresponder message (or standard message for all recruiters would be ok)?
What message would you use in your autoresponses to applicants?
3) Should autoresponder be turned on by default in your job postings?
Please reply in comments or email to webmaster@postjobfree.com
Update: Job application autoresponder is ready
About a week ago PostJobFree started asking recruiters to create resume search alerts every time recruiter posts a new job.
Creating resume search alert is a good way to get new resumes that match job opening you are trying to fill.
Still it is not for everybody: one recruiter told me she does not want to see.
Sign up for resume alert screen after she posted a job.
Please let me know (in comments or email to webmaster@postjobfree.com):
Do you like "Sign up for Resume Search Alert" screen after you posted your job or would you like to turn that screen off?
Unfortunately Google deleted original blog.
So this is just a follow-up posting.
