Manila’s finest fashion bloggers will leave
their laptops at home once again to attend BLOGGERS UNITED BAZAAR (Part
2) on December 3, 2011 at Treston International College, Taguig, this
coming holiday season.
It is the second installment of the first-ever Bloggers United: An Interactive Shopping
Affair, which was held last May. Due to insistent demand from readers
and bloggers alike, Bloggers Unite team in partnership with the country’s largest online shopping
website, Multiply Philippines
have gathered Manila’s fashion bloggers to sell their pre-loved but
very stylish closet pieces!
This event is the perfect opportunity for both
bloggers and their adoring readers to mingle and personally interact with each
other. Fun contests and exciting giveaways from sponsors and entertaining
performances from bloggers (Walkie Talkies, Reese & Vica) themselves will
definitely keep this event from being a dull one.
Some of the notable bloggers attending the event
include Divine Lee, Laureen Uy, Kookie Buhain, Lissa Kahayaon, David Guison,
Karl Leuterio, Patricia Prieto and Preview Magazine’s own Daryl and Andre
Chang.
But because Bloggers
United wishes to go beyond the geographic limitations of the
archipelago and extend its reach beyond Metro Manila and so for this event, they
are flying in some of Cebu’s very own fashion bloggers which include Kryz Uy,
Eden Villarba, designer Yves Camingue, Gillian Uang and Mildred Zapanta and a
few more.
Part of the proceeds from this event will go to
the GMA Kapuso Foundation for its
school building project, a small but significant step to improve the Filipino
youth’s access to education.
The organizers behind BLOGGERS
UNITED BAZAAR (PART 2) are Ana Gonzales, Melai Entuna, and Aisa Ipac, a team of blogger friends
encouraging camaraderie and sense of “community” among Manila’s (and
eventually, the country’s) fashion blogging community through events and
productions like this.
This is a one-day-only event that you shouldn’t
really miss! It will be in a bigger venue with twice more the number of
participating bloggers to meet! This is the perfect shopping day this Christmas
because the most affordable and most fashionable clothes, accessories and
footwear will be up for grabs. See you!

CONTRAST
6 Nov 2011 4:12 AM (13 years ago)

You know me, I don't wear pants. Most especially if it is denim. I can't withstand wearing a pair in a hot climate. As the countries in the west now experience the freezing weather, for us here, it's pretty much unpredictable. Humid by noon, suddenly the rain starts to pour in the afternoon. Talk about climate change.
To give contrast to the pair of shorts I am wearing, I wore a sheer long sleeved polo. I love it much coz of the pleated detail in the bust area. Some of you may start to notice that I am now wearing dangling earrings and skipping the necklace, it's because I feel I look like a boy if I am not wearing one! hihi...=)
Anywayz, I hope you had a great weekend as much as I did! Til my next post...

Three days ago, my good friend and I went vintage shopping. I was so happy coz I finally got myself a pair of high waist shorts that could fit me! Anyways, wore this to my Lexa's scheduled check up. She has definitely grown, that's what her Pedia says. Good thing she grows healthy. She was then given vaccines for immunization. =)

Knuckle Ring from Quirkypedia and Skull Ring from Fetish

Hey guys! Watsons recently launched their second online game entitled, BEAUTY DASH. This time it features Watsons Exclusive Brands for beauty and skin care namely Neutrogena Hydro Boost Range, Ponds Gold Radiance, Vaseline Men, Purederm, Vitacreme B12, and Erth Origins.
Playing the BEAUTY DASH would give you the chance to win Watsons Beauty Loot Bag or P3,000 worth of Watsons gift certificate. Awesome price right?
You can check out the Mechanics here.
How to play the game?
1. You'll have to use the arrow keys on your keyboard for you to move you avatar. That's you on the center circle by the way.. =)
2. The 6 items on the list mus t be picked up within 1 minute.
3. After collecting all of the items needed, you need to go to the bottom middle part of the shopping area (that's the girl with the cash register) for you to complete the game.
I got to play the game and yeah, it was pretty fun! I had to try many times just to collect the 6 items though. Haha! I am really slow with regards to playing games.
How many tries did you get? Have fun playing!!!!

DUGOUT, the newest club in Bacolod recently had their soft opening last October 1 and they featured the ZOMBETTES to be the guest jocks. The place was super packed! I wasn't expecting this much because of the typhoon, but still people were really into they're partying groove.
I would like to say KUDOS to my cousins for a successful opening. Job well done guys! To see people enjoying much paid your sleepless nights and hard work.
As for me, I was super thrilled because it is my first post pregnancy night out! Yay yay and super YAY!!! hahaha
HELL to the YEAH!!!
The ZOMBETTES
FUN!!!
Yeah.. I skipped the alcohol...

Yipee! At long last, my first outfit post after pregnancy. It's been a while since I was able to dress up!
When the calendar hits October, the MassKara fever is always on.
A perfect time for me to go thrifting since I dont have anything to wear right after giving birth! Speaking of thrifting, my eyes are always focused on finding animal print pieces. I just can't get enough!
My hips grew like crazy, so I'd better hide them by wearing maxi skirts.. hahaha!
Anyways, wore this outfit to MassKara Queen's Modelling Competition wherein I was invited to be one of the judges.
Vintage Animal Print Blouse
Thrifted White Top
Vintage Maxi Skirt
Belt from Mom
Ear cuff from Quirkypedia
Skull Connector Ring from Fetish
Pilipinas Cuff from Hidden Gem
Soule Phenomenon Customized Shoes
Oh yeah, I did cut my hair off. It's a birthday gift for my husband since he's asking me to get a cut like this for ages! Do you think it suits me?

A NEW CHAPTER....
26 Sep 2011 11:50 PM (13 years ago)
Hey Guys! I am back!!!
Just wanted to thank you for all of your support even though I was not active for a while.
As most of you know, I became pregnant late last year, that's why I wasn't able to continue blogging. I was able to give birth last August 26 through Cesarean delivery to a beautiful baby girl. We named her, Auria Alexandra. Auria, from my father's name which is Aurelio and My husband, Francis, suggested the Alexandra since he thinks it's a powerful name. hihi =)
Anyways, blogging seems new to me. I barely know how to write!
I miss dressing up a lot!
My goal right now is to keep my baby healthy and to get back to my pre-pregnancy shape.. I hope I can do that just in time.
Here are some photos of my maternity shoot, delivery and my pretty baby.. I hope you'll like it!

Yeah, I know what you all mean. When I was 21, I just Graduated from college, back then, I was focused with Board Exams and practically planning my life as a full-pledged nurse. This didn't turn out as expected though, but now I am happy with my life now. I am doing what I love without knocking myself out to work in a hospital. Come to think of it, sometimes, I miss the world of Health Care.

Last Saturday, we went over to Member's Only for Forever 21's Gift Card Launch. Thanks to the wonderful Kookie B., for picking me up, and to the amazing Jane Kingsu-Cheng for inviting us over. Indeed, the party was a success! Once we entered the club, we were asked on what are we going to do with the GC, I immediately answered.....SPENDING ON AMAZING SHOES!!! Haha. There goes the shoe-addict me again. =))

Our second night in Bangkok and Dad took us to the Night River Cruise. The food was amazing! There were different types of dishes, but I went Italian that night. Pasta would always be love love love!
Upon sight-seeing through the cruise, we saw the magnificent temples. Most were made of Pure GOLD and twinkling Gems, in which, Thailand is famous for. Sorry, but I don't have a super nice photo of the temples you guys, the shutter speed of my cam is very slow, that's why upon taking the photos, they get blurry.

Earlier that day, we went through the temples, and this photo is one of them, amazing right?
With the family , again! =))

Folded and Hung features its Summer 2011 Fashion Trends in it’s biggest Fashion event of the year, The Streetcast Fashion Show 2010 featuring styles inspired by the love affair of the Coachella Fashion with Classic Americana.
The Coachella Music and Arts Fest held every year in Indio, California is a celebration of art in all its forms: music, visual arts (installation art and sculptures), and fashion. Yes, fashion! It’s an oasis of “streetwear” fashion that cries for self-expression.

Known for consistently introducing new fashion trends in the retail industry, stylish brand Folded and Hung gives you a summer collection that takes inspiration from what festers (festival goers) wear to the three day Coachella Fest and celebrates it as a fashion event, with the unique F&H style signature of course! After all, it is who you are and not what you spend which is this year’s Streetcast theme.
Folded and Hung Summer 2011 Collection is the best of casual street style. It’s about “everyday people” fashion. And when you give art the freedom to rein, the result is simply awesome! Big in comfort and also big in style, it’s an obsession with clothes that have stood the test of time.
The Folded and Hung Summer 2011 Collection is filled with pieces that aim to capture the backbone of American fashion - free enterprise, freedom of expression and a mix of the old and the new, given a modern twist here and there to fit the Filipino sense of style and fashion.
For the FH woman this summer 2011, key pieces of the collection which is huge in Coachella fashion are vintage inspired long dresses, tunics in light weight materials and lace tiered skirts. And because of the hot temperature of the season, one huge trend are denim shorts. From cut-offs to retro shorts in light washed denim materials, these pieces are sure favorites for any summer activity.
Floral and colorful prints are everywhere! Loose fitting jumpers and dresses held around the waist by a basic belt helps define the figure in comfort and form. Head pieces in knots pattern and bags sport floral prints, you’d think it’s the 70’s and the 90’s. Big shades with thick frames in various colors and classic aviator shades are best vintage favorites.
For the FH men, it’s free flowing fashion and self-expression with a casual mix of resort shirts, soft cargos, Henley tees, dhoti shorts and relaxed denim. Biker graphic tees and patchwork woven tops are perfect match for printed shorts, denim slouch slim jeans, drop crotch sweatpants and faded retro denim shorts.
Color palette is inspired by nature. Fresh green, a splash of watery blue, juicy red, vivid orange and unbleached neutral tones give a delicious flavor to all pieces.
Overall, the Folded and Hung 2011 Summer Collection is a casual mix of hippie, ethnic, gypsy, grunge and vintage elements with a modern outlook that’s intensely concerned with artistic self-expression that is always sexy in all its forms.
Folded and Hung officially declares the summer season open with 2010 Streetcast Fashion Show!
(Anagon hat, Vintage vest, Gap jumpsuit, Soule Phenomenon shoes, Bazaar-find and Oxygen layered necklaces, Rings from Anagon, Firma, Aldo and Karl, Bangles from Promod and Mphosis)
This is the third time that I have been wearing the same hat which I got from Anagon. Of course I definitely love it coz it completes the whole look, talk about adding edge to the outfit.
Just a random day as Karl, Edrick and I did some shots here in my pad's roof deck. We've been loving this spot lately. Our schedules jived so we instantly grabbed the opportunity! We went to Greenbelt afterwards spotting people for Manila Streetsyle. It was a day of fun-fun-fun!!!
HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!
TGIF!!!
When I was in High School, I always had my hair straightened up because at that time, curls were super out. It was an insecurity since everyone wants to have that long straight hair like the ads on TV.
For 10 loong years, I have been doing this ritual and that I spent a lot on maintaining the straight hair do. It came to a point that my stylist here in Manila told me to chop the straight part off (since I haven't had it Re-bonded for over a year). Now, I am loving the curly 'do!
My friend Yekky, asked me to model again for his new collection, MIADORE, and as for a change in the look, he opted to straighten my hair out. It took about an hour to achieve this look! hahah BTS photos will be posted here soon! =)

(Anagon Hat, Vintage Blazer, Paradigm Shift "Side Tail" Top, Paradigm Shift Harem Pants, Jeffrey Campbell K-Genius Booties)
I always consider Fridays as one of the best days in the week. Work ends as it gives you time to rest. During this day, it is always a "Dress Down" at work, but I just wanted to give my style a twist.
My friends Karl and Mike own Paradigm Shift, and as part of the challenge and helping them promote the line, I tried 2 of their pieces on and wore it according to my style. The clothes are really comfy, talk about rayon.
