GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The Seattle Pacific University women's rowing team put three boats in the grand final of the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, with the Falcons Varsity 8+ taking a team-best third place in their race on Sunday.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (April 26) – Robert Joshua broke the converted Seattle Pacific school record in the men's 100-meter dash, then ran the program's fastest-ever fully automatic time in the 200, and Andrew Bell became the first SPU hurdler ever to break 14.5 seconds, going 14.45 in the 110s, all at the Ralph Vernacchia Invitational track and field meet on Saturday.

(April 25) – Distance runner Annika Esvelt and pole vaulter Lizzy Daugherty, who are in the Seattle Pacific record book for their athletic accomplishments, now can make a similar claim for what they've done in the classroom. For the fourth time, both of them were named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic team for women's track and field on Friday.

SEATTLE (April 24) – The Seattle Pacific Falcons will wrap up their regular season track and field schedule in Bellingham this weekend. Up first is the Pee Wee Halsell Invitational on Friday. Field events start at 10:00 a.m., followed by track events at 12:30 p.m. Saturday is the 43rd annual Ralph Vernacchia Invitational. Field events start at 9:00 a.m. and the first race is at 9:05. All action is at Civic Stadium.
