WOW…i’m not sure where the time has gone! The girls are 5 and i feel like just yesterday i was holding two babies, feeding two babies and changing two babies diapers! NOW, we’re planning for kindergarten! Time has flown by and i cherish each day i have with my girls…and Hannah too!
We had a wonderful but busy Holiday Season. We started with the girls birthday party, which included a spa day for 10 of their closest little friends. THEN, we had Paul’s work party the next weekend. The following weekend we had a Xmas Party in Dallas. Then was Christmas. Next, we celebrated the twins real Birthday. After that, we headed for our lovely jaunt down to South Texas(The Valley). It was by far, the best trip we’ve taken down there to date! Not to many potty breaks along the way, i drove(so stress free), the girls had a blast and enjoyed playing with grandma and grandpa, we enjoyed the much more relaxing Progreso Neuvo-no more army guys over on the other side of the bridge, Hannah was able to even go down to Progreso Neuvo this time, we were able to see Pauls aunt and uncle that we hadn’t see in a long time, and on top of all that fun…it only took us FIVE hours to get home. Yes, one potty stop and that was it! AMAZING how much easier three little girls are once they are potty trained.
Anyway, the girls had a wonderful birthday-if i say so myself. So here are a few pics from the special day.
We’ve been busy to say the least! Christmas Family pics, Christmas parties at Pauls work x’s 2, Christmas Programs at the twins school, the girls had a Spa Birthday Party, my Dad celebrated 75 and we celebrated that too! It’s been BUSY…BUSY BUSY! Who can believe that the year is almost over and we’re headed full steam ahead into 2012!
May you and yours have a Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy new year!
Love,
Paul, Brenda, Hannah, Sarah, Samantha, Gracye and Sugar!
I’m sure it’s been a year since i updated! I guess life just gets in the way of blogger every once in a while. Along with children whining about being hungry, needing a booty wipe and or needing to be broken up from beating each other up! Life is great! The girls are all doing great! Hannah is headed to 2nd grade this year! All in all time just seems to fly by and before we know it…we’re celebrating another year of our beautiful children’s life’s!
Here are a few pics of Hannah’s actual birthday! Stay tuned next week i should have some of her Birthday blow out!
Her awesome Cookie cake above!
Hannah opening up her make up!
This cracks me up….she was like": “MOM, WHY do i need a calendar?” LOL!

Hannah headed out to her big present…with blind fold on so she couldn’t peek.
A NEW BIKE! YAHOO! She needed one soo bad! Her 16 inch was WAY to small! Now she can really take some rides with me!
She wanted to eat at the fancy table, and her dinner choice was beef tacos. We had to have a little lesson on being a princess before we ate.
Blowing out SEVEN CANDLES!
Such a cutie!
Stay tuned for more after her Party on Saturday! I’m just not sure if i’m looking forward to 20-30 little 7 and 8 year olds hanging out at my house swimming and sliding down the water slide we rented! I might need a drink or two after! LOL!
Finally got to take Hannah for her 6 year check up.
38lbs-9th percentile
height-10th percentile…i forgot the actual height
and they don’t do head circumference..instead they do some weird exam to check for ADHD…thankfully she passed with flying colors!
We had thought about a slumber party but time slipped away and we just had a family party after all. It was lots of fun spending time with her precious little cousins.
Here are some pics from the day:
She loves board games…operation is one of her favorite!
We took her to papadeaux for dinner…she REALLY wanted Red Lobster..but only b/c she LOVES saying it…but papadeaux was just as good..maybe even better!
Pic op with daddy!
And mommy!
And her baby sisters!
In front of the wishing pond
With her butterfly’s that didn’t make it…but we’re waiting till fall to send off for more..they should have never tried to send us live chrysalis in 100 degree weather! :<(
Did i mention we also bought her some african frogs for her bday?!
P.S. Yes…my daughter is pretty spoiled..but she does deserve it! She is so sweet, nice and a all around precious little blessing to have and we are so thankful for her!
We had a fabulous 4th of July this year. We stayed home and we to our neighborhood party and parade. We decorated the girls bikes and they all rode them the entire parade…which is a huge ordeal for us.
Here are some pics from the day!
Does Paul look like he’s huffing and puffing…we were both drenched at the end! :>)
Not very happy sitting in the heat on the front of a Volunteer Fire Dept truck!
Happy Girls eating snow cones and popcorn!
The girls even won a prize at the parade for their bikes being decorated…

And HOW many clothes changes did they have that day…here they are preparing for the evening festivities!
Shooting off parachutes on the green belt in the back of our house…
Waiting for the parachutes to come near the ground so they could chase them and catch them!
Coming up the hill from catching one..
And then the night festivities began…we popped some fireworks that night.
And then we cleaned up another mess…in front of our house the third go round…
The END!
We sent Hannah to go stay with Grandma & Grandpa Myers for a few days…i know she had a blast. I have lots of pics from that trip…i just need to scan those and then post. I actually flew with her to Tulsa, OK…they met us there and took her back to their house. Then we planned a mini get away and met them in Texahoma to meet and pick her up. It was her first plane trip..and she did great. I know next year will be even more fun…and maybe, just maybe the little girls can go to and The Mr. & i might be able to go on a mini vacation to…Vegas or California Wine Country…..who knows.
Here are some pics of Texahoma…
I forgot to add that we also go to see our sweet nieces, Brooke & Nicole…as they went to see grandma too. Too bad i didn’t think to make some Camp Grandma’s house t-shirts…that would have been something fun to remember their great adventure…maybe next year! I have tons of pics…but you know i love my new camera..and need to get my $$’s worth! :>)
Hannah about to board our plane

The End…
Ms. Annmarie changed up her swim lesson procedures and some how we didn’t get as many classes as i would have liked. Two go cancelled, etc… I was a bit sad that the twins didn’t get more lessons…but two weeks seemed to do the trick. Of course, i’m sure it helps that we have a pool and swim daily. Here are some pics from the lessons-did i mention that Sarah can swim fairly well for a 3.5 year old? Of course Hannah is like a fish this year…and if we put her in next year it will only be to tweek her strokes and teach her new things…she is already a very calm amazing swimmer.
I can’t wait to see what NEXT SUMMER holds for the girls…i’m sure they’ll love the water and really swim like fish!
Since CyFair ISD doesn’t do anything to celebrate the little one’s graduating from Kindergarten…which is a big deal for me…we decided to throw an all class kindergarten graduation party at our house. I had some planning to do…having invited 23 kidos over to our house in the middle of summer…
But all in all, we had a fabulous time!
Here are some pics..
Congrats to the class of 2010! We’re looking forward to first grade…i’m sure it will be a lot of fun and hard word combined!
And with that i might add that 2 of Hannah’s Best Friends came over to party like rock stars that day…what a great way to start off the summer! :>)
It’s been a wonderful year for the girls at their new school. Despite all the sickness and my issues with germs…the girls have really grown to love their school. I enjoyed their teachers…and i’m sad that this year is over. I’m ready for the summer…in some ways.. In other ways(entertaining 3 children for 3 months) i’m not very sure if i’m looking forward to that or not. HA HA! Just Kidding! I know i will enjoy the summer with my girls…and we’ll find lots of fun things to do in and around town.
Here are a few pics from today!
The boys really liked the hats…the girls…we’ll i think they would have liked princess tiara’s more so, than dr. Seuss hats!
Sarah & one of her classmates…
Samantha…drinking some juice!
LOVE this pic of me and my girls! Everyone is smiling AND looking at the camera!
Their wonderful teachers…Ms. Lisa, Sam, Sarah & Ms. Tammy!
The girls are kicking booty and taking names…or maybe just swimming like they are fish in the sea! Sam with her kick board and noodle..
Sam demonstrating how to put your head underwater…LOL!
Sarah blowing bubbles with kick board and noodle.
Both girls just kicking away. P & I think the puddle jumpers really help them strengthen their LEGS…and thankfully since swimming is 90% legs…we aren’t doing bad. Just need to work on ice cream scooping on their arms a bit!
Sarah just trotting along..these girls are doing FANTASTIC!
YES…that IS my 3.5 year old diving under to get the blue tennis ball..all the way to the THIRD step…CRAZY!
And Sarah did it too..with a little more help!
A little worn out after 30 minutes of hard work!
Just a kicking a long…
Sarah with JUST a noodle..no kick board..working on scooping some ice cream!
Taking a break.com!
My big girl swimming like a pro!
I think having a pool has helped them all tremendously!
Love my camera…i’m sure i’ve said that before!
WHOO HOO…look at her go!
Swimming to the side after her jump.
One more jump…NO FEAR…NONE!
Splash!
That was all for day two…i can’t even imagine what day 3 holds for us. Then we have another week in June for more lessons…i can’t wait! I think Ms. A is going to work on the BACK STROKE with Hannah tomorrow! WOW…she’s going to know more than me pretty soon!
A class pic before i left. Notice S & S on the ground whining…that mommy was leaving..Ahh…memories!
Here’s one pre whining…notice the little boy on the right…either they are telling a secret or he’s about to bite his friends ear. HA!
The girls LOVED these slides…the one on the left was a bigger hit…they must have went down it 10 or 15 times each! It was so hot i wanted to crawl up on it myself…
Sweet, Happy, Wet babies!
Sliding…
More sliding!
Think she has a little water in her eye…
Then came the shaving cream table…Sarah had a BLAST!
We started swim lessons tonight. I just can’t tell you how or why Ms. A does such a good job. She is one AMAZING teacher…and my 3.5 year olds were totally attentive to her and did everything she said…P & I were both shocked. They said NO a few times..but once one would do it…so would the other. I’m one proud mama tonight…and looking forward to our second private lesson tomorrow.
Hannah blows us away every time. I think she may decide to swim for the Coles crocs one day…i would love for her to swim…if not, there is always track and field. She is SOO much more athletic than Paul or I…it’s so exciting! I’ll spare you some of the less exciting pics…but by the end of our 30 minute private lesson..she was just swimming. :>) That’s my girl!
She started out slow with a noodle and a kick board…
Then just a kick board…
My little girls watching very attentively…taking notes i HOPE! LOL!
My almost 6 year old is one brave little girl…
Have i said HOW MUCH i LOVE LOVE LOVE my new camera.
Diving down 3ft..at least to get a tennis ball..i could NOT believe she did it…a few times..and every time she went out further!
Swimming across the pool..day #1! What will come in the next few days…i can’t even imagine!
I’ll post again tomorrow…b/c i’m sure tomorrow will be even better than today! :>)
Mmm..all the girls could talk about were the cookies and cupcakes we were going to eat today!
I think Sam loved her cupcake…LOL!
The precious hand/sand Mold they each made for me in class!
Sarah was SOO proud of her mold she made for me! Look at that cute cupcake mustache!
I love this pic of my babies…that aren’t such babies anymore!
They did have one matching outfits…until Sarah peed her pull up and it went straight through her clothes.
Their two wonderful teachers…Ms. Lisa & Ms. Tammy!
Sam showing me her present!
We had a great day…it was so much fun to see the girls interacting with all their classmates…
Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there…and MOTHERS TO BE Too!
Hannah learned to RIDE her BIKE TODAY…SANS TRAINING WHEELS! YAY FOR HER!
So if you asked me what i did today…i’d be VERY PROUD to Say…Paul & I taught Hannah how to ride her bike! Are we two very proud parents or WHAT?!

I think the girls love the paper-shredded!

Today we decided to make blueberry muffins…DELICIOUS!
Luckily these were for us and not to give to anyone.
FINGER LICKING GOOD!
I use boxed eggs…that way they can get a few licks in after i’m done.
Loving that spatula!
And don’t forget to clean your hands when your done…I guess licking will work well enough!
Here’s a piece of our new world! We invested in a new camera a few days ago. It’s BEAUTIFUL and i’m amazed with the quality of pics i’m taking. Paul made me promise i’d blog more if we bought it. SEE HONEY…i’m working on it!
Testing the camera…it’s super fast. See…Hannah’s hair is still standing up!
Sugar…the attack dog(with Hair)!
The sweetest little pouty face i have ever seen!

Blue Mustache
Look at all these sweet faces!
Daddy with one of his four main ladies!
ALL IN ALL i’m LOVING this camera! Have you noticed how many great action shots i’ve gotten??? It’s because this new camera takes a whopping 8 pics a second! YES…that IS AMAZING for a mommy that keeps her camera attached to her arm all the time!
It’s been our tradition for the past 8 years..to go take pics in the blue bonnets. This year was so much fun. Despite sitting in traffic for over 2 hours to head 1 hour north of our home…we still had a blast. Even after that long drive & not having had lunch yet..at 1pm, the girls still smiled and posed like professionals.
Enjoy!
Grandma & Grandpa Myers came through town on their way back to KS! We had a few Easter Egg Hunts planned for Saturday..so they jumped right in and helped the girls stuff their Easter Eggs.
the girls in front of the big red barn at a fellow Moms Grandparents house.
They had a hay ride for the families, which was tons of fun!
The girls were loving the Easter Bunny this year. Three is a wonderful age..
SOO HAPPY to see the Easter Bunny!
One more try…and everyone is looking!
And they meet again…they had a blast talking to him! The Easter Bunny(a sixth grader) was a MAJOR trooper with all the kidos at this event!
Playing some games!
Hanging with Grandma & Grandpa!

And still silly!
We had a wonderful time at the MOMS Easter Egg Hunt…i don’t think “next year” can be any better!
After the Moms Easter Egg hunt..we came home, took a nap and headed to our next adventure…our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. If you look closely…the girls are in the middle with the striped dresses getting ready to run for some eggs.
Mommy with her girls.
The girls are scoping out the area..ready to get some eggs. SOO serious…
And they are off…
And here is the best pic i could get of Hannah..she was all over the place, chasing eggs.
One more of Hannah…there were kids EVERYWHERE! It was CRAZY!
Hannah with her loot!
Mom and her girls on the train.
The girls at the petting zoo…
More petting zoo..they had this TINY pig…i wanted to put it in my pocket and take him home…he was SOO CUTE!
And on to the jumpy thing…they did soo good on this too. Hannah is such a great big sister…she helped them all along the course.
Here comes Hannah & Sam..down to the finish line!
And Sarah right behind!
Sam on the way down..
Hannah and Christopher..her little “friend” in her class..that was chasing her all around the playground! UGH!
Hannah rode the train with Grayson…one of her other classmates at school.
Hannah with Grayson…they are too cute! And Paul noted the boys behind them…when the girls got off they kinda giggled and rolled their eyes. OH DEAR…Is it already time to lock the doors and hide them from the boys?!
The girls playing on the playground…they had soo much fun!
They loved playing on the big kid playground..and did really well holding their own. They weren’t scared..or bashful…just jumped right in to play. Hannah, again, was sooo good at watching over them.
Hannah cleared this cool thing in a mere 30 seconds…she was flying across it. She is definitely WAY more athletic than Paul or I were…
All in all we had a great weekend at our Easter festivities and hanging with Grandma & Grandpa Myers…
We had some “fancy kiddie food” over at the Myers house!
Paul was soo excited and couldn’t wait to try out this recipe!
That’s a hot dog cut to look like a octopus and some Ramen noodles that have green food coloring in them! LOL!
Happy Hannah…who by the way used to “LIVE” on hot dogs. To the extent that we were worried that’d be ALL she’d ever eat..or perhaps, she’d turn INTO a hot dog! HA!
Sarah with a VERY LONG noodle!
And check out those cool red “waters” they are drinking. I’m loving those cool new fizzy tabs from kool aide! The girls are loving them TOO!
Glad the food coloring didn’t get all over them!
Sarah was very happy with the green noodles! Sam calls noodles “nerdles”…it’s SOO FUNNY!
Just wondering how many issues with hair we will have in this house? HA HA!
YES, that is GUM in her hair. I heard her say something about gum earlier in the day while we were driving through the car line to get Hannah…but we all forgot by the time we got home. UNTIL i saw something BLUE in her hair!
NOT SO HAPPY SAM!
Happy AFTER i cut it out! Look at that beautiful hair i cut out!
SOO sad…BYE BYE PRETTY HAIR…now there is a big ole’ spot in the middle of her head!
Maybe we’ll find something new to reward our children for pooping in the toilet! :<( But they sure do love that gum!
