Treasury Secretary Bessent is a bad liar. Clowns portray it as 5D chess.
Lie of the Day and Hoot of the Day
Bessent: “This was driven by the President’s strategy. He and I had a long talk on Sunday and this was his strategy all along. And you might even say that he goaded China into a bad position. It wasn’t a hard message. Don’t retaliate and things will turn out well.”
Competing Theories
If you are economically dense as a brick of lead, or you are afflicted with a massive and uncurable case of TDS Type II (Trump can do no wrong), then you believe this is all part of a master plan.
Unfortunately close to half the nation is economically as dense as lead or believes in laughable 5D chess theories.
What About Farmers?
In 2018 Trump administration introduced $16 billion (~$19.1 billion in 2023) of new trade aid. In 2019, the Donald Trump administration increased the bailout to $16 billion (~$18.8 billion in 2023).
Two days ago the Wall Street Journal reported Trump Team Will Consider Aid to Farmers, Agriculture Secretary Says
The Trump administration is weighing financial aid to America’s farmers to mitigate any negative effects from President Trump’s tariff program, Brooke Rollins, the U.S. agriculture secretary, said Sunday.
“We have to be prepared that if there is longer-term damage…that we have the funds in working with the senators and working with the appropriators that we can do what we did last time,” Rollins said on CNN. The federal government sent about $23 billion to compensate farmers during Trump’s first term. Trump’s first trade war led to more than $27 billion in losses of agricultural exports, according to USDA research.
Farm Progress
There was $27 billion in damages to farmers under the then pissy (compared to now) tariffs on China.
Now, China will get all the soybeans and corn etc. from Brazil instead of the US.
FarmFutures reports Key Brazil Port bustles as China poised to shift away From U.S.
Trump’s trade war may have crushed global commodity prices, but it’s good news for one of Brazil’s largest ports, which is seeing an uptick in export volumes.
Porto do Açu in Rio de Janeiro state, the country’s No. 1 oil export port, was already investing in extra capacity to help resolve trading bottlenecks in agriculture and minerals. Tariff-induced distortions in global trade are now providing an additional boost, it says.
“When the threats started, demand started to rise,” João Braz, the port’s terminals and logistics director, said in an interview. “We’re in a really good position here.”
How the 5D Plan Works
Bessent is bragging that over 50 countries want to negotiate. Well la de da. Of course they do, but in practice it’s impossible because of Trump’s idiotic definition of reciprocal.
White House Formula for Reciprocal Tariffs
I discussed the Trump’s idiotic definition of reciprocal on April 3, 2025 in What’s the White House Formula for Calculating the Huge Tariffs?
Essentially it boils down to ((imports – exports) / imports) * 0.50
So reciprocal tariffs have nothing to do with tariffs at all.
Trump assumes any trade deficit with the US is proof of cheating and such countries are taking advantage of the US. But please note that the US is cheating Brazil and Australia because we have a surplus with them.
To get around this, Trump assigned a minimum 10 percent tariff on the world.
Error in the Formula
There are two other variables in the formula but they cancel out. They shouldn’t. The result is that even if one agrees with the concept, reciprocal is about 4 times overstated.
For example, reciprocal for Vietnam should be 12.2% and not 46%.
I have been meaning to do a post on this, but am finding it very difficult to keep up with everything I want to write about.
Lutnick Says Tariffs Can Eliminate the IRS and Balance the Budget
On March 12, I commented Lutnick Says Tariffs Can Eliminate the IRS and Balance the Budget
We have an annual trade deficit of $918 billion.
Team Trump proposes $918 billion in “reciprocal tariffs” to make the trade deficit go away.
But to balance the budget and eliminate personal income taxes, Trump would need to collect $7 trillion in tariffs on a net trade deficit of $918 billion.
I would love to hear a detailed explanation of exactly how that works.
Are you ready for that miracle? Me too. But wait, there are still more benefits to this amazing deal.
Trumps Claims
- Tariffs will increase revenue enough to balance the budget
- Tariffs will bring manufacturing back to the US
- Tariffs will reduce inflation
- Tariffs will increase exports
Conflicting Economic Madness
Points 1 and 2 conflict. Tariffs cannot simultaneously bring back manufacturing and raise enough revenue to balance the budget.
Points 2 and 3 conflict. Since the US is one of the world’s highest cost producer of goods thanks to unions, tariffs will not reduce inflation.
Points 2 and 4 conflict. Since the US is one of the world’s highest cost producer of goods, and other countries will retaliate, tariffs will not increase exports.
Today, I wonder how the flying F we are going to do all that with a 90-day pause but a another bailout of farmers.
Nothing is Fixed
If Trump sticks with his definition of reciprocal or something close, negotiations are not going anywhere.
And contrary to popular myth the US does not hold all the cards.
I explained why earlier today in China Retaliates with 84% Tariffs on the US, Most Trade Will Stop
Supply chains everywhere are disrupted. US farmers will be bailed out, again.
Understanding Rare Earths
At present China produces 60 percent of the world’s rare earths but processes nearly 90 percent, which means that it is importing rare earths from other countries and processing them. This has given China a near monopoly.
According to the United States Geological Survey, China has been supplying 54 percent of the germanium used by the United States, a material used in infrared technology and fiber optics.
The United States has not mined its own gallium, used in semiconductors, since 1987. Japan supplies 26 percent of American imports of gallium, China 21 percent and Germany 19 percent, along with several smaller suppliers.
Antimony (Sb), a critical metalloid, is a key element of the American war machine, essential for communication equipment, night vision goggles, explosives, ammunition, nuclear weapons, submarines, warships, optics, laser sighting and more, according to U.S. Army Major General (retired) James Marks.
China controls nearly 50% of the global antimony supply.

China can easily block rare earth exports to the world. If that happens, Trump will panic.
We should not be in this position, but we are.
Conclusion
If after reading this, you still really think this was Trump’s master plan, congratulations for having a brain as dense as lead.

A Licensed Texas Physician with significant experience successfully treating measles during the current outbreak is reporting a second tragic death of a chronically ill child who had been previously infected with measles in a Texas hospital. Similar to the recent unfortunate death widely but incorrectly reported as primarily caused by measles rather than complicated by measles, this is again a case of a child suffering from pre-existing conditions who was misdiagnosed, and it appears that she may have been improperly medically managed.
In this second case, a young girl who had previously been infected but recovered from a measles infection developed a blood infection (sepsis) after suffering from chronic tonsillitis complicated by chronic mononucleosis. Infectious mononucleosis (IM, mono), also known as glandular fever, is an infection usually caused by the Epstein–Barr virus (EBV). There is no vaccine for EBV, and in most cases children that develop this common infection recover with supportive care. In this case, although she had developed and recovered from measles, the girl had been ill for months with chronic mononucleosis complicated by chronic tonsillitis, and her parents had been arranging for her to have her tonsils removed, a procedure known as a tonsillectomy.
Unfortunately, the child developed sepsis, a bacterial blood infection, which progressed to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). In this case, blood cultures identified gram-positive cocci in her blood, indicating that her sepsis and ARDS were likely caused by either a Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pneumoniae bacterial infection.
Her parents brought her to the Texas University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas for treatment of her apparent bacterial sepsis due to underlying chronic tonsillitis and chronic mononucleosis. At the time of admission, the girl’s father specifically requested that she be treated with inhaled budesonide by nebulizer. The UMC Hospital staff refused this request, and appeared to have treated her as if she was suffering from Covid rather than ARDS, and administered an intravascular infusion of steroids. IV steroids suppress the immune system’s ability to fight bacterial infections, and the father was aware that inhaled Budesonide is an effective, lower-risk treatment relative to IV steroids when treating ARDS.
For a summary of the definitive clinical trial documenting the “Effect of nebulized budesonide on respiratory mechanics and oxygenation in acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome” please see this peer-reviewed publication.
Instead of receiving clinically proven standard-of-care treatment with nebulized Budesonide according to the family’s wishes, the young girl was administered IV steroids and sedated with drugs that suppressed her respiratory drive and deep breathing, increasing the likelihood of partial collapse or closure of her lungs (a medical complication known as atelectasis), which reduces the ability of the lungs to bring oxygen to the blood, making it even harder for her to recover from her bacterial pneumonia and sepsis. As a consequence, she passed away due to sepsis resulting from chronic tonsillitis and chronic mononucleosis, complicated by medical mismanagement.
In the previous related case that was widely misreported by mainstream media, another ‘medical error’ by a Texas hospital led to the death of a 6-year-old child who developed mycoplasma pneumonia after receiving a measles diagnosis. In that case, the cascade of medical errors included failure to administer the correct antibiotic in time, according to doctors who reviewed the child’s medical records which were shared with permission by the family. Details of those records and independent medical review can be found here.
The Texas Department of State Health Services currently reports 481 cases of Measles occurring since late January during the current outbreak of measles in the South Plains and Panhandle regions of Texas. Of these, fifty-six of the patients have been hospitalized.
Measles is among the most highly infectious viral diseases known to man. Measles outbreaks are common, in both vaccinated and unvaccinated regions. The World Health Organization has issued a travel advisory for the United States due to the Texas outbreak, although it has not issued travel advisories concerning the currently ongoing outbreak of 572 measles cases in Ontario, Canada. Ontario’s top public health official Dr. Kieran Moore does not recommend mandatory vaccination and says the standard public health measures to limit the spread are working. The WHO-designated European Region has a population of approximately 745 million people and reported about 127,350 measles cases last year, or 1 in 5,850 people. Most children who develop Measles infection and disease recover with supportive care, and deaths from measles are quite rare in children who are otherwise healthy.
Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in children is associated with a significant mortality rate. According to the guidelines from the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, the mortality rate for mild to moderate ARDS is around 10-12%, while it is 33% for severe cases. A study from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital reported an overall mortality rate of 63% among children with ARDS.
A retrospective study conducted at a tertiary referral hospital found that the overall mortality rate for children with ARDS was 33%, with more than half of the deaths occurring in the severe ARDS group.5 Another study indicated that children with hematological neoplasms complicated with ARDS had a high overall mortality rate, ranging from 56% to 77%.
In summary, unlike measles, the mortality rate for children with ARDS can vary depending on the severity of the condition and underlying health issues but is generally high, ranging from 10-77%.
Medical error is the third leading cause of death in the U.S., according to a 2016 analysis by Johns Hopkins University researchers, including Dr. Marty Makary, the recently confirmed Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The post Another Texas Child Dies after Recovering from Measles appeared first on Activist Post.
The reactions to my USAID piece over the weekend have been fascinating, with many thoughtful responses, but two in particular perfectly demonstrate its core thesis about manufactured binaries and recursive loops. One friend expressed genuine horror that questioning USAID might endanger humanitarian aid worldwide – apparently missing my earlier points about how philanthropy has often served as cover for nefarious agendas, from Al Capone’s soup kitchens to Jimmy Savile’s hospital “charity work.”
The other, a respected researcher whose work on institutional deception I deeply value, worried I was “taking the bait” by discussing these revelations at all – overlooking my explicit acknowledgment of both constitutional concerns about the methods and the possibility of another layer of controlled awakening – The Second Matrix – at play.
Both friends seemed more interested in the article they wanted me to write than the one I actually wrote – about pattern recognition and manufactured reality. I may not have written the story either wanted – one seeking unequivocal condemnation of the dismantling of USAID, the other warning against sincere engagement with these revelations. But my search for truth requires examining all possibilities, even uncomfortable ones. I use spaces like this to think out loud, to explore patterns, and perhaps most importantly, to acknowledge what I don’t know.
For what it’s worth, I completely understand my second friend’s concerns about timing and motives – they’re valid questions I’ve considered myself. But that wasn’t the focus of my piece. When she said, “We all knew everything about USAID’s operations,” I had to point out – no, some of us knew, but most Americans still have no idea. The real question isn’t whether to discuss these revelations, but how to process them without walking into another trap.
Her most astute question was why these revelations are emerging at this particular moment – and I completely agree that’s the key question. Cui bono – who benefits? The timing itself might be the most important pattern to recognize. Throughout history, strategic revelations have often served to redirect or pacify resistance rather than truly dismantle systems of control. By selectively exposing certain crimes, the system allows pressure to vent while ensuring the deeper architecture of control remains intact.
The revelations become part of the control mechanism itself. While I’m encouraged by seeing long-hidden criminal networks exposed, I’m not holding my breath for the cavalry. Hope without vigilance is just another form of capture. The system often reveals certain truths strategically, either to normalize them or to direct resistance into prescribed channels. Some would call this the essence of Luciferian deception – presenting carefully selected truths at precisely calculated moments to achieve maximum effect. While these revelations feel genuine – and I want to believe we’re seeing real change – history teaches us to maintain our discernment. Optimism shouldn’t blind us to patterns. Whether you see this as ancient spiritual warfare or simply effective psychological manipulation, the pattern is clear: truth itself becomes a tool when its timing and context are controlled.
Consider how quickly “sides” have formed: Larry Ellison’s Stargate initiative – built on Oracle’s foundation as a CIA project – is now being welcomed by the same people who, not long ago, vehemently opposed centralized digital control. If this were rolled out under different branding, the so-called freedom movement would be apoplectic. Why the double standard? This is the same Larry Ellison who, after 9/11, offered to build a national security database to track every American, complete with biometric identifiers. If Joe Biden had Bill Gates in his office announcing partnerships with Microsoft, Google, and Facebook, the so-called freedom movement would be apoplectic. I opposed elite-imposed technocracy when the left-wing administration was implementing it; I’m not particularly interested in the right-wing flavor either.
And what about the conditional approval of avian flu vaccines for poultry? Where is the medical freedom movement that overcame Covid-19 mandates and formed the MAHA coalition that helped elect this administration? The very coalition that rallied against experimental mRNA technologies is now largely silent as similar interventions threaten our food supply. Will we soon need to worry about vaccine residues in our morning eggs? The selective outrage is glaring.
This same selective principle application is perfectly illustrated by the recent anti-Semitism executive order and its implementing task force. Beyond the noble-sounding goal of combating hatred, look at what’s actually happening: a multi-agency government apparatus with unprecedented power to “root out” undefined “anti-Semitic harassment” on college campuses. Who defines what constitutes anti-Semitism? Where are the clear boundaries protecting constitutionally protected speech? These aren’t partisan questions – they’re fundamental to liberty. The silence from erstwhile defenders of the First Amendment is deafening. The same warriors who fought government censorship yesterday applaud government speech regulation today. It’s naked hypocrisy, plain and simple. Free speech either matters all the time or it doesn’t matter at all.
To paraphrase Groucho Marx, I’m suspicious of any ideological club that would have me as a member. This isn’t about picking teams – it’s about recognizing patterns. The ultimate form of control isn’t hiding truth – it’s shaping how we process truth when it emerges. That’s why pattern recognition matters more than ever. We must be able to hold multiple realities simultaneously: These revelations are significant AND their timing may be strategic. Power is being exposed AND new forms of control may be emerging.
Humanitarian aid matters – its primary purpose is helping people in need, and when properly deployed, it can serve this crucial mission. It can also build economic partnerships and maintain peace – especially if we finally have leadership interested in diplomacy rather than endless wars. But some USAID programs clearly aren’t about aid or development at all – they’re about cultural engineering and manufacturing division. A $2 million drag show initiative in Guatemala isn’t humanitarian relief; it’s an effort to shape societal values under the guise of inclusion. The aid component may or may not be real in any given case, but the agenda is undeniable.
We can simultaneously:
I’m deeply concerned that some in the resistance are growing complacent, believing ‘the good guys are now in power.’ Nothing could be more dangerous. Yes, we can welcome corruption being exposed while staying vigilant about what follows – especially the risks outlined by journalists including Catherine Austin Fitts, Naomi Wolf, and Whitney Webb. They’ve warned about the emerging control grid, the unchecked power of tech oligarchs, and how financial and digital systems are being quietly restructured under the guise of reform. These warnings deserve as much scrutiny as the corruption now being dismantled.
I’ve noticed that recent critics of researchers like Fitts, Wolf, and Webb – particularly those shifting with the political winds – rarely engage with their actual arguments. Instead, they resort to labels like “controlled opposition” or “blackpilled.” This pattern itself deserves examination – the cabal has managed to either create its own resistance or capture existing movements for longer than I’ve been alive. We should follow facts and then determine how we feel about them, not the other way around. And we can’t have double standards based on our preconceived versions of good and evil.
The Constitution remains humanity’s best framework for individual liberty – let’s make it real through radical transparency and consistent principles. But if history teaches us anything, it’s that power doesn’t simply dissolve; it shifts shape. Which brings me to a curious coincidence: DOGE (the Department of Government Efficiency, also a nod to Elon’s favorite memecoin) shares its name with the Doge of Venice, a ruler who operated at the intersection of military power and financial control. Whether this is just an amusing historical parallel or something more meaningful, it’s worth considering: are today’s technocrats truly dismantling systems of control, or are they refining them into something far more sophisticated?
Venetian elites ruled not just through direct power, but by mastering financial and military leverage – a model that hasn’t disappeared but has simply adapted, now operating through modern structures like central banking and AI governance. Most people caught in today’s news cycles and social media feeds rarely pause to consider whether these parallels suggest deeper historical echoes – perhaps even ancient banking dynasties with longstanding occult knowledge. Whether such theories intrigue or repel you, expanding our scope beyond the immediate moment is necessary to grasp the full picture. Patterns repeat, and power rarely relinquishes control – it simply shifts form.
While I love seeing DOGE upend the government and expose both wasteful spending and heinous criminal operations masquerading as bureaucracy, we can’t let our guard down. I understand why traditional methods won’t work – the deep state has its claws in everything. Just look at the Pharma-sponsored Congress members shamelessly opposing RFK – as Robin Williams once said, they should wear NASCAR badges showing their sponsors. But the critical question isn’t just what’s being torn down, but what’s being built in its place.
The methods of control may have evolved from Venetian banking to digital governance, but the underlying principles remain remarkably consistent. Where banking dynasties once controlled societies through sovereign debt and trade routes, today’s AI-driven systems go even further, achieving granular behavioral control through predictive modeling, algorithms, and ubiquitous surveillance. The methods evolve, but the mechanisms of influence – shaping human behavior through subtle constraints and engineered incentives – remain strikingly familiar.
If history teaches us anything, it’s that power does not simply fade; it reinvents itself under new names, using new tools. Two things can be simultaneously true – this is the heart of pattern recognition: We’re watching real exposures of taxpayer-funded horrors play out in real time, AND we must remain vigilant about what system replaces the one being dismantled. The key isn’t picking sides but developing the capacity to recognize and resist all forms of manipulation – even those that appear as liberation.
My loyalty is to my family, my honor, my community, and humanity – but above all, to truth itself. If we let dogma override judgment, we become exactly what many of us mock – cartoons of partisan thinking.
Real change won’t come from the top down – it never has. It will come from within communities, from people recognizing patterns and refusing to participate in manufactured realities. It will come from individuals choosing truth over comfort, from local networks building resilience against centralized control, from the ground up rather than the top down. Power to the people isn’t just a slogan – it’s the only way forward.
Right now, we all need to keep our guards up, not take the bait on the infighting, and keep looking for truth, love, and realness. The war isn’t left vs right – it’s about preserving human sovereignty in an age of engineered reality.
One thing I keep noticing: people crave absolute answers – heroes, villains, clear conclusions. But what if the real trap isn’t just deception, but our need for certainty itself? Maybe the most radical stance is resisting the urge to lock in a fixed narrative and staying open as new patterns emerge.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will soon declare something ZeroHedge readers have known for quite some time – the economic system championed by the international elite is dead and gone.
Starmer’s office told the Sunday Times that, “The world has changed, globalization is over and we are now in a new era.”
“We’ve got to demonstrate that our approach, a more active Labour government, a more reformist government, can provide the answers for people in every part of this country,” his office added, emphasizing a pivot toward proactive governance.
Starmer’s admission, albeit late, follows President Donald Trump’s tariffs announcement, which slapped a 10% fee on all goods from the United Kingdom.
In a high-profile speech this week, Starmer will sharply criticize Trump’s decision to impose tariffs on the UK, while belatedly conceding the shortcomings of free trade and unfettered mass migration.
Starmer’s upcoming remarks come alongside persistent efforts by UK officials to finalize a trade agreement with the United States. Downing Street has confirmed that negotiations are in an “advanced stage,” with officials indicating, per The Guardian, that the core framework of a deal is largely settled.
The Guardian reports:
The Guardian revealed this week that as part of its negotiations towards a deal, the government has drawn up proposals to reduce the amount paid by US tech titans and broaden the tax to apply to a wider range of companies – without reducing its total take. This is thought to be among the most significant concessions the UK has offered the US.
On Sunday, top Trump officials said that 50 countries have already reached out to the administration in response to U.S. tariffs. “We already have 50 countries that have come to the table over the last few days, over the last weeks that are willing and desperate to talk to us,” Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told CNN on Sunday. “We are the economic engine of the world, and it’s finally time that someone, President Trump, stood up for America.”
.@SecRollins: "In the last four years, the cost of inputs for our farmers went up 30%. In the last four years, we had an agricultural export deficit that increased from zero when President Trump left to $49 billion." pic.twitter.com/erfbjExNPP
— Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) April 6, 2025
“This whole concept is about rebuilding an American economy around American goods, around American industry,” Rollins added. “We do already live under a tariff regime in this country, but it’s the tariff regime of China, of Mexico, of Brazil, of Australia, of countries that Mexico won’t take our corn, Australia won’t take our beef. The country of Honduras takes more pork than the entire European Union does, American pork.”
The markets are closely monitoring the European Union’s response to U.S. tariffs, with a proposal expected on Monday and a vote scheduled for Wednesday, according to Reuters. French President Emmanuel Macron has adopted the most hardline public position against President Trump, calling on European companies to halt investments in the United States.

While Trump may have preferred that Iran capitulated to his threats to bomb them if it refused to come to Trump’s unweildly negotiations table, the Iranian government has decided instead to push back firmly against Trump’s crazed demands, with Tehran now warning neighboring Gulf countries that host US military bases that they could be in the line of fire if Trump decides to go for broke…
The Cradle reports…
A senior Iranian official said that Tehran has warned six countries they will face “severe consequences” if they support Washington in a military attack against the Islamic Republic, Reuters reported on 6 April.
“Iran has issued warnings to Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Turkey, and Bahrain that any support for a US attack on Iran, including the use of their airspace or territory by the US military during the attack, will be considered a hostile act,” the official stated while speaking to Reuters on condition of anonymity.
The official stressed that such an action “would have severe consequences for those countries,” adding that “Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has placed the Iranian armed forces on high alert.”
Spokespersons for the governments of Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry was quoted as saying it was unaware of the Iranian warning, but that such messages could be conveyed through other channels.
On 30 March, US President Donald Trump threatened Iran with bombing and secondary tariffs if Tehran did not come to an agreement with Washington over its nuclear program.
“If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” Trump said in a telephone interview. “It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”
The senior official speaking with Reuters added that Iran rejects US President Donald Trump’s demand for direct talks over its nuclear program. However, it wants to continue indirect negotiations through Oman, where indirect negotiations between the two countries have taken place in the past.
“Indirect talks offer a chance to evaluate Washington’s seriousness about a political solution with Iran,” said the official.
#Iran’s Chief of Staff: Our response to #Trump stressed we seek peace in the region & don’t pursue nuclear weapons. No direct talks, but indirect talks possible. If US acts sincerely, talks can be held. US was most unreliable party in past negotiations. There’s no trust in them. https://t.co/okYrrIVhWy pic.twitter.com/xTQ4GDPYuO

In addition to issuing verbal threats against Iran, Trump has ordered a major military build-up in the region, including dispatching a squadron of B-52 bombers to the US base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed on Sunday that “the conditions for resuming talks between Tehran and Washington regarding Iran’s nuclear program are based on the principle of trust between the two countries,” he said.
“We are ready to continue dialogue regarding our nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions against Iran, based on the logic of confidence-building,” Araghchi said in statements reported by Iran’s Fars News Agency.
Following Trump’s threat, Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Aerospace Division of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), directly threatened US bases in West Asia.
“The Americans have around ten military bases in the region – at least near Iran – and 50,000 troops,” Hajizadeh told Iranian state TV on Monday.
“It’s like they’re sitting in a glass house. And when you’re in a glass house, you don’t throw stones at others”….

The world economy has to be demolished to prepare ground zero wasteland for The Great Reset.
Cue loud applause for:
Higher taxes
Crashing markets
Hyperinflation on EVERYTHING
Poor quality products
Reduced value of the dollar
Reduced interest rates .
The World of Warcraft 3D video game we live in is heating up. It’s all baked in the cake.
ADVANCED PLAYERS ONLY stand a chance to avoid being bankrupted by Trump’s ‘liberation’. Or, cooked by the 5G Apocalypse microwave radiation warfare disguised as an old/new ‘virus’ or nuclear attack.
And, by ‘advanced players’ I specifically refer to TDV subscribers who are sitting pretty right now, because they’ve been paying attention to what Ed Bugos and I have been saying for about a year now! Imagine if you could pay $25 for 60-pages of life-saving, portfolio-profiting advice twice a month and your chances of surviving and even profiting in the Great Reset double! (At least)
In the Dollar Vigilante newsletter December 31, 2024 Issue, I predicted that we’ll see the first-level crash around May this year, and that’s what we’re seeing now. I also said that there will likely be a massive wipe-out in September 2025, something I’m pretty sure is going to be realized too.
“The stock markets seem just about ready for a big fall too. Which is in-line with my 2025 prediction of a first big drop in April followed by a bigger one in September. If we see the stock markets collapse during that time frame we could also see gold, silver and precious metals stock get hurt too. That’s why TCV analysts and Ed have all been talking about making sure you have a sizable cash position right now. Things are going to get pretty crazy in the next few months.”

Zelenskyy is the new hero of the world for taking on the Orange Man in debate, with his eye-rolls and bitch-shaming body language. We are doomed!
No! Call in ChatGPT to set it all straight for us! He/She/It knows the answers! She/It/He can answer any question we put to it! Just like God used to do for us, ChatGPT can now do! All knowing, all wisdom, all perfection! Problem solved!!
Although I am certain all this has faded into the blurry and diaphanous past by now, at the time, it was a common sight on social media to see people singing the praises of ChatGPT and its take on the Zelenskyy/Trump/Vance debacle, which is now ancient history. Excitable comments like, “They ran the whole thing through ChatGPT, and it unequivocally said Trump was an incorrigible bully and Zelenskyy was a consummate hero!!” It was as if someone had conjured up Jesus himself to hear his take on the debate. How lovely.
First of all, I seriously doubt if the entire interview was input into the great AI Oracle. And even if it was, it would have only been a transcription, devoid of any visual cues to include in the analysis—the body language between all parties would be quite important in achieving any sort of reliable results. The tone of voice would have an impact as well in determining some pretty key elements in the demeanour of the participants. And who in hell trusts computer AI to make assessments of human behaviour and character? I sure as hell would not. What a complete piece of crap idea.
But it is so typical, isn’t it? Considering these people who share the idea that Trump is an evil bully, what better way to verify their rather loony perception of Trump’s behaviour than with a piece of crap AI contraption that isn’t even given the proper or complete information to make an assessment.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I do believe that ChatGPT is brilliant (I have now discovered Grok 3, which I am even more impressed with), but I would never fall back on some system that could so easily be manipulated to give biased answers (just program it to hate Trump and there ‘ya go). Also, how could anyone with a sound mind rely on a computer to tell them who is a bully and who isn’t? Anyone who would, seems a bit out of touch with their own humanity.
This all just solidifies my belief that the whole AI chatbot thing is going to be the first bit of technology successful in destroying what it means to be a human. Most people probably think it is the physical robots that will end the world, the Terminator types with their physical strength and ability to walk through walls, jump over buildings, and kill anything they come into contact with. That will be the end. Maybe there is some truth in that, but superior physicality can be fought with bigger weapons, stronger defences, and maybe even wittier minds.
A computer that competes with the way we put words together wields the mightiest weapon by far—the pen is greater than the sword, as they say. It is our loss of mind, loss of wits, and loss of communication through the written word that will kill us quicker than a germ. The chatbots that can research faster than light, come up with detailed facts quicker than they can type them out and actually have a conversation with you are going to make the human mind obsolete over time—and probably a very short time at that.
I think this will be quicker than losing our soul, which is also being chipped away at with art and music AI and in a plethora of other technological advances. The loss of human wit and human intellectual ability through chatbots I think will be, to our awareness, a slow death—and probably a fairly painful one. It will go fast, though, in the long run.
Soon all manner of writing will be handed over to the bots. Not just nonfiction (that will be the first to go, of course) but fiction as well. All styles will be artificial. (I am sure one of the next things we will see are novels written “in the style of.”) Classic artists in the public domain will be stripped of all decency first—Dickens, Shakespeare, Hemmingway—then the contemporary litterateurs such as Danielle Steele, Stephen King, John Grisham, and the like. Nothing will come out that can be described as “human style”—lost forever will be human opinion, human thought, and human literary creation. And the funny thing about this is no one will notice, and certainly no one will give a gnat’s butt hair of concern over it. Boom. Done.
If you were a nihilist (as I am quickly becoming), it would all be rather humourous watching it all go down. People complain that God is dead, that if there were a God He would never let this happen. The greatest gift God gave his human creation was free will, and the mind to determine what best course of action free will offered us. I don’t think God is a nihilist, so I don’t think He is laughing, but He is probably shaking his head, wondering why His creation is so stupid.
I had a dream once where rats took over the world. There were so many that there was nothing left but rats. In fact, the planet itself didn’t exist because the rats ate all of it in its entirety. There was just this enormous round ball of pure rats writhing around as they drifted through the cosmos.
Obviously, they started eating each other, and finally, over a bit of time, there was nothing left but one rat. And it died of loneliness. Poor rat. God didn’t save it. God just figured He would start over again. “Maybe I won’t give humans free will this time,” He thought. That oughta do it.

April 16: Watch a LIVE Press Conference at the TheHighWire.com at 12pm PT (3pm ET). For the first time, we will reveal the secret recordings. After the press conference, return to TheRealPeterMarks.com to view the full timeline including exclusive video, private records, and internal communications with links to the complete files.
The timeline they never wanted you to see
ICAN, in partnership with React19 and Follow The Silenced, will release a virtual timeline of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, exposing never-before-seen internal FDA records and exclusive video footage tied to the tenure of Dr. Peter Marks, the now-former Director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). It was under Marks’ leadership that CBER authorized and subsequently approved the experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.
After months of FOIA requests and legal work, the truth is finally coming to light. For the first time, view the vaccine rollout and safety monitoring from the perspective of both the FDA, the vaccine injured, and the broader public. What did the government know—and when? And once it learned certain things, did that affect what the public was being told?
The evidence suggests a disturbing pattern:
Dr. Peter Marks Resigned From FDA
Marks offered his resignation while citing Kennedy’s “misinformation and lies” and an “unprecedented Associated Press
Years after helping drive the first Trump administration’s efforts to develop a Covid vaccine, Dr. Peter Marks resigned as the Food and Drug Administration’s leading official overseeing vaccines, citing his likely ouster while criticizing Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy’s views on vaccines and “misinformation and lies.”
“If [Marks] does not want to get behind restoring science to its gold standard and promoting radical transparency, then he has no place at FDA under the strong leadership of Secretary Kennedy,” an HHS official told the Wall Street Journal (the HHS did not immediately respond to a request for comment).
What Did Dr. Peter Marks Say About Robert F. Kennedy Jr.?In his resignation letter, first obtained by the Journal, Marks said an HHS official forced him to choose between being fired or resigning. Marks wrote it had become “clear that truth and transparency are not desired” by Kennedy, who “wishes subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies.” Marks, who noted he was previously willing to address Kennedy’s concerns about vaccine safety and transparency from the agency, said some claims about vaccines—including a debunked connection with autism—are “concerning.”
A recent outbreak of measles in several states underscores lowered confidence in “well-established vaccines” that have met the FDA’s standards for quality and safety, which could be “detrimental to public health and a clear danger to our nation’s health, safety and security,” Marks said.
Peter Marks Resigns From FDA As HHS Fires 10,000 Employees In Reorganization Effort 4/2/25
Dr. Peter Marks, an FDA official involved in Operation Warp Speed, has resigned from his position as director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). Marks started his career at the FDA as deputy director of the CBER in 2012 and has been the director since 2016. CBER is tasked with ensuring biological products, including vaccines, are safe and effective.
News outlets have reported that Dr. Marks was offered the option of resigning or being fired by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The Associated Press reports that the information came from a “former FDA official familiar with the discussions” who asked to remain anonymous. Kennedy has said one of his primary goals in running HHS is to root out conflicts of interest and the revolving door between regulators and the companies they are tasked to regulate.
Marks wrote a resignation letter criticizing Kennedy’s approach to public health. He wrote, “As you are aware, I was willing to work to address the Secretary’s concerns regarding vaccine safety and transparency by hearing from the public and implementing a variety of different public meetings and engagements with the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. However, it has become clear that truth and transparency are not desired by the Secretary, but rather he wishes subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies.”Multiple media outlets have reported that an HHS official released a statement saying that if Peter Marks “does not want to get behind restoring science to its golden standard and promoting radical transparency, then he has no place at FDA under the strong leadership of Secretary Kennedy.”
Dr. Vinay Prasad wrote a Substack post in response to Marks’ resignation and called him a “mediocre academic.” Prasad also wrote, “Peter Marks was one of the most dangerous, pro-pharma regulators of the 21st century. He is leaving and crafting a narrative that portrays him as a saint. That’s natural. But what is shocking is that the media is so uncritical, and not honest about his actions. The same media that lied about lab leak, masks, and all things covid is lying about Peter Marks.”
Prasad called out the media for lying about Kennedy pressuring Marks to resign without any specific action cited in their reports. Prasad criticized Marks for approving booster shots for 6-month-old children without any randomized data. The United States is still an outlier for the CDC’s recommendation that all healthy children as young as 6 months should get the COVID-19 vaccine despite low risk of mortality and severe outcomes from the virus.
Prasad also pointed out the obstacle the Biden administration faced when trying to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for OSHA and military members. The vaccines were available via Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) rather than a biologic licensing agreement (BLA). There was some dispute about whether vaccines could be legally mandated with only an EUA.
Marks reportedly pressured Dr. Marion Gruber and Dr. Philip Krause to cut corners and approve the vaccine via BLA. When the two officials refused to bend to the pressure, Marks pressured them to resign. They resigned in 2021. Both Gruber and Krause stated this under oath to the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust.
The press release from June 2024 concluded “The FDA succumbed to the Biden Administration’s pressure to act beyond its authority, which may have long-term impacts on the agency’s ability to confidently serve the American public. This poor policy by the Biden Administration reveals many significant problems related to accountability and good decision-making in the administrative state that warrant legislative reform.”
Dr. Gruber explained some of the tactics Dr. Peter Marks and Janet Woodcock used to pressure her to authorize the vaccine so the Biden administration could move forward with mandates. Gruber said, “They also made the point, as I state here in the email, that they feel that people have a tendency to get a vaccine that is authorized, but they may be hesitant and would be more likely to receive the vaccine if it would be licensed.”
Dr. Gruber also explained that the agency had data suggesting a risk of myocarditis, which requires a postmarketing study before the vaccines could be fully licensed. Gruber confirmed with Chairman Thomas Massie that Dr. Marks pressured her to “compress” this part of the timeline. When Gruber left her position in the FDA, Dr. Marks was appointed by Woodcock to replace her in this role.
When Massie asked Gruber if Dr. Marks and Woodcock had received instruction from outside the FDA to move up the timeline, Attorney Hilary LoCicero advised Gruber to not answer the question as it falls under the scope of a deliberative process within the FDA.Alongside Marks’ resignation are 10,000 job cuts within HHS that were recently announced. Secretary Kennedy posted on X in response to the job cuts. He wrote, “This is a difficult moment for all of us at HHS. Our hearts go out to those who have lost their jobs. But the reality is clear: what we’ve been doing isn’t working. Despite spending $1.9 trillion in annual costs, Americans are getting sicker every year. In the past four years alone, the agency’s budget has grown by 38% — yet outcomes continue to decline.
We must shift course. HHS needs to be recalibrated to emphasize prevention, not just sick care. These changes will not affect Medicare, Medicaid, or other essential health services. This overhaul is about realigning HHS with its core mission: to stop the chronic disease epidemic and Make America Healthy Again. It’s a win-win for taxpayers, and for every American we serve.”
Jeff Goad, PharmD, MPH, president of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) said the current flu season is the “most severe” since 2017-2018.
The flu season peak typically ends in late February, with most people receiving their flu vaccinations in September or October, before the season officially begins. Medscape reported, “Many clinicians already discuss issues related to informed consent before administering any vaccines, Mazumder said.”
It is not possible to know how many clinicians provide informed consent before administering a vaccine, and it is not possible to know the specific details they provide.
Kennedy promised radical transparency as the HHS secretary, which involved presenting all of the science for the public to make informed decisions. It has not yet been reported if the “wild to mild” flu vaccine campaign will continue this season with a balanced description of the risks and benefits of taking the vaccine.

Making America Healthy Again (MAHA)
How We Can Make America Healthy Again shows that Americans spend an average of $12,555 per person on health care annually according to the Peterson-KFF Health Care Tracker. By comparison, typical health care spending across other developed nations is about $6,651,
However, Americans are the sickest, fattest, unhealthiest population. The US ranks high in infant mortality and ranks low in life expectancy compared to other industrialized nations. This shows that the American approach to healthcare is not working.
Robert Kennedy Jr. joined Trump’s Transition Team early last year, Trump’s Plan To Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) explains that Trump has nominated Kennedy to head the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Trump nominated Dr. Marty Makary to head the FDA. Trump picks Dr. Marty Makary as Food and Drug Administration commissioner: Trump said Makary would work under HHS nominee RFK Jr. to address the childhood chronic disease epidemic. Trump nominated Dr. Jay Bhattacharya as Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The Senate confirmed the nominations of RFK Jr. Dr. Bhattacharya, and Dr. Makary.

RFK Jr. Halts COVID-19 Oral Vaccine Trial for 90 Days, Ends Flu Vaccine Ad Campaign
February 28, 2025
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. paused a clinical trial funded by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) for a COVID-19 oral vaccine made by Vaxart. Kennedy said, “While it is crucial that the Department [of] Health and Human Services (HHS) support pandemic preparedness, four years of the Biden administration’s failed oversight have made it necessary to review agreements for vaccine production, including Vaxart’s. I look forward to working with Vaxart and medical experts to ensure this work produces safe, effective, and fiscal-minded vaccine technology.”
There is currently a 90-day pause on the trial that was set to begin on Monday with 10,000 clinical trial participants. The oral vaccine would be evaluated against the existing mRNA COVID-19 vaccines currently available under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).
Kennedy was named the chair of the new Make America Health Again (MAHA) commission, created by an executive order signed by President Donald Trump just after Kennedy was confirmed as HHS secretary.
The executive order states, “It shall be the policy of the Federal Government to aggressively combat the critical health challenges facing our citizens, including the rising rates of mental health disorders, obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. To do so, executive departments and agencies (agencies) that address health or healthcare must focus on reversing chronic disease.”
The commission will work to provide transparent “open-source” data to the American people. This includes funding “gold-standard” research through the NIH and ensuring that the “United States food is the healthiest, most abundant, and most affordable in the world.”In October, Kennedy said “If you work for the FDA and are part of this corrupt system, I have two messages for you: 1. Preserve your records, and 2. Pack your bags.” According to recent reports, firings have begun within HHS.
Earlier this week, the conflict of interest discussion ramped up when Patrizia Cavazzoni was hired as chief medical officer for Pfizer about a month after leaving her position with the FDA. She joined the FDA in 2018 and became the director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) in 2021. She resigned from the position in January, shortly before Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
The Pfizer press release states, “Before joining CDER, Dr. Cavazzoni held several senior executive positions in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly two decades, including at Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and Sanofi. During her prior tenure at Pfizer, Dr. Cavazzoni led clinical sciences and development operations for the company across multiple senior roles.”
Pfizer received full EUA approval for its COVID-19 vaccine in August 2021 while Cavazzoni was the director of CDER within the FDA. The Daily Mail reported that Cavazzoni’s new role with Pfizer could pay up to $500,000 per year before bonuses, according to job posting sites.
Kennedy has promised to root out conflicts of interest, and the latest move by Cavazzoni reflects the ongoing revolving door between big pharmaceutical companies and federal health agencies.
During Kennedy’s address to HHS staff, he said, “I’m not going to come in here and impose my belief over any of yours. Instead, we’re going to work together to launch a new era of radical transparency. We will convene representatives of all viewpoints to study the causes for the drastic rise in chronic disease. Some of the possible factors we will investigate were formerly taboo or insufficiently scrutinized: the childhood vaccine schedule, electromagnetic radiation, glyphosate, other pesticides, ultra-processed foods, artificial food additives, SSRIs and other psychiatric drugs, PFAS, PFOAs, microplastics—nothing is going to be off limits. Whatever belief or suspicion I have expressed in the past, I’m willing to subject them all to the scrutiny of unbiased science.”
Kennedy also halted the CDC’s “wild to mild” flu vaccination marketing program that has been running since 2023. Reports say Kennedy wants future vaccine ads to focus on “informed consent.” In this case, the ads would mention the risks and benefits of getting the flu vaccine.
Yesterday on The HighWire, Jefferey Jaxen reported on the halt to the flu vaccination campaign. He presented a 2012 study that shows risks associated with flu vaccinations that could potentially be mentioned in future ads if they focus on informed consent. A randomized placebo study with 115 children found those who received the trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine were 440% more likely to be infected with “virologically-confirmed non-influenza” or upper respiratory infections.
The flu vaccination ad program attempted to show the public that flu vaccinations can prevent severe outcomes from infection and don’t necessarily prevent transmission. The ads did not provide the information that the vaccines can increase the likelihood of infection with other non-flu illnesses. Running ads that focus on informed consent could include both of these messages so individuals can make an informed decision with their doctors.
Shirin A. Mazumder, MD, an infectious disease expert in Memphis, Tennessee, said, “A shift in the messaging away from the benefit of vaccines has the potential to affect public perception and lead to an increase in vaccine-preventable illnesses and deaths in a population where vaccine uptake for flu and other respiratory viruses is already low.”
