Round 100 of Planetarion, a century of full-rounds (excluding all the winter rounds, half rounds, world cups and speed rounds, of course) is now here!
It has been voted to be called "True Legends Last" by a majority of our playerbase because, well, most of our players are legends!
At a high level:
Alliance limits will remain at 50, with 40 counting towards the alliance score.
Buddy packs remain at 4.
With Round 100 sounding a little more special than other rounds, we have further changes lined up than in many recent rounds.
This includes:
* 6 Races. Eitraides have been lost to the wind, the relative newcommers (being with us since R20) being defeated. Kinthia and Slythonian, new hybrid races, have joined the battle in their stead.
* Cloak is now a separate ability to the EMP, Steal and Normal damage types. This is a key factor in the new races.
* The Military Scan now has returned as a 9th scan in the scan tech tree.
* Special roids will be re-introduced amongst the galaxy at shuffle time
* Defence XP in general has been dropped, including a lower cap
* War XP bonus has been increased to 15% and 25% respectively
* Fleet Admiral bonuses are only increased when asteroids are stolen when attacking, or when the fleet is a non-trivial size (i.e. no 1 ship fleets) when defending.
* Scanning from alliance fund no longer gives XP.
Signups will be opening shortly, with ticks starting on Friday, 13th January and continuing for 7 weeks until the 3rd March at 20:00 GMT.

Round 99
Round 99 - 99 problems completed on Friday, and the End of Round Ceremony (EoRC) completed in #eorc on Discord (accessible via the com unit). Please view it on Discord if you wish to review the minutes.
The top 3 planets were as follows:

Winter Round
This will be a free round.
The Winter Round dates are as follows:
- Signups opening on Tuesday, 13th December at 20:00 GMT
- Ticks starting on Friday, 16th December at 20:00 GMT
- Ticks ending on Friday, 30st December at 20:00 GMT
- Immediate havoc (same as above havoc setup, minus alliance changes)
- Havoc ending on Thursday, 12th January 2023 at 20:00 GMT
Setup as follows:
- Ticks will be every 15 minutes
- In-galaxy defence will be 3 ticks not 5
- Galaxies will be buddy packs of 5 plus randoms. We strongly encourage you to use buddy packs, though!
- The shuffle will take place at tick 12 (22:45 GMT on Friday, 16th December).
- Stats will be available by signup
- Presents will be back for each galaxy after shuffle
- There will be 30 man alliances with a -2 ETA bonus.
Round 100
Round 100 will have signups starting on Friday, 6th January, with ticks starting on Friday, 13th January at 20:00 GMT and finishing on Friday, 3th March at 20:00 GMT. This will be a paid round.
This will consist of buddy packs of 4. There will be 6 races, special bonus asteroids and a return of Military Scans, amongst other things.

Signups for Round 99 - 99 Problems, have now opened.
Ticks will start on Friday, 21st October and continue for 7 weeks, finishing on Friday, 9th December
Alliance limits will remain at 50, with 40 counting towards the alliance score.
Buddy packs are reduced to 4.
Ship stats have been refreshed and are now final, and Government / Race stats have remained unchanged.
XP has been tweaked slightly (please see our manual) and Cathaar salvage changes have been reverted.

Round 98 - No Mercy signups opened earlier this week.
Ticks will start on Friday, 12th August and will continue for 7 weeks, until Friday, 30th September.
Alliance limits will remain at 50, with 40 counting towards the alliance score.
Buddy packs remain at 5.
Ship stats have been refreshed and are now final, and apart from a Cathaar salvage tweak (to bring salvage bonuses in line with all other races), Government and Race stats remain unchanged.
