Ditched my Glock 19 gen 5 and bought the Echelon compact. The grip angle and trigger are so much nicer to me. The trigger on the G19 hurt my finger as it landed on the bottom of trigger against the guard. Somewhat common. Nothing earth shattering but they did put a lot of the good stuff on a single pistol. The trigger is the nicest I have had on a striker. 150rds without a hiccup. Recoil is negligible and it is accurate. Liking it thus far.

Please help me solve this problem - Last night at midnight a coyote got in the chicken coop so I grabbed the XD-E 45 and ran out the door. Within a few seconds I had the coyote in my sights and pulled the trigger. The XD-E fired twice on one pull and did not eject the second shell. I have never had this happen so please help me understand what might be wrong . . .

Oh, yes I did have a second pistol and nailed that coyote where he stood!

Well it happened again another XD Subcompact locking block broke.



This is the 3rd XD Subcompact that has had the exact same failure. I didn't notice til I got home and started cleaning my pistol. I own 4 XD Subcompacts, 2 in 9mm and 2 in 40sw. I was already in the middle of sending out a 40sw so I guess I'll be shipping 2 pistols back to Springfield.

(I have replied asking what modifications should be made to best protect the XDM .45 from the wear of +P+ ammo. I asked about heavy springs and guide rod etc. Ill post their response.)

Thank you for your interest in our XD(M) .45 model. I am happy to say that yes, the barrel is a fully supported match grade barrel. You can shoot +P and or +P+ in the XD or XD(M) models, but we do not recommend a steady diet as it can be hard on...

I recently purchased two 7 round magazines from Springfield Armory for my .45acp xds.Both mags feed all 7 rounds of hard ball just fine.When loaded with Speer 230gr gdhp#23966 neither mag will feed the first round.If the mags are loaded with only 6 rounds they feed just fine.Anyone else have this problem?The half dozen 5 round mags i own feed the Speer ammo with no problems.

Curious if there are any XD 45GAP owners on here? I love my original XD9 close to 3000 rounds of everything thru it with no hiccups. I am a little late to the party but I will be looking for a XD-S 9mm this year. Had the chance to shoot one recently it was more than I expected in performance feel and shoot ability.

I just purchased a XD 9 subcompact and noticed it was marked AS/BR on the slide. From what I have gathered it is overrun stock for Brazilian law enforcement. Trying to figure out if this is accurate or if it has another meaning. Thanks for all the info.

I have been doing alot of googling about the Bufflalo Arms BRG9. I have been reading that it is superior to the XD9. I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this Turkish mad firearm.

To make a long store short, I have an XDM that I love and shoot well.....except the grip safety

For some reason my hand and XD/XDMs do not seem to get along in that area. I have been looking for ways to disable the grip safety, but have not found one that I like, so want to get some suggestions

Pinning the safety (not really wanting to drill into anything)
After market grip (I like the grip as it is, so don't really want to modify it)
